Last Thursday Cancer Research Wales were celebrating their 50th Anniversary by hosting a networking event at Costco.
The event kicked off with casual networking with all the businesses in the room and then a speech from Katie Killioran their Corporate Fundraiser about the charity and what they are doing to celebrate their 50th Anniversary.
A beautiful spread of food was provided and it didn't take long for the plated of food to get emptied.
An auction was also held to raise some money and Alun from Framing Wales kindly donated a Gareth Bale canvas to be auctioned off and it made £100! Costco also donated a specially decorated cake and that was also auctioned off which made £25.
So in total they made £125 from just those two auctions. They also held a donation raffle where the people in the room donated money to take part in it and a few people in the room won extra prizes.
