Cannock Chase Shed is a community group for anyone who enjoys using a workshop to repair items or create projects.
The Cannock Chase Shed, a new community group is looking for others to
come and join us.
 
Members can use the workshop for their own projects, or work with others on projects for community / heritage groups.
 
Help will be on hand on how to use equipment or advice on how to make or repair most items.

About Cannock Chase Shed

What is our Aim?

To provide for all our members:

1) Opportunities to socialise and make new friends.

2) Experience the camaraderie of working with others.

3) Put practical skills to good use and share them with others.

4) Try something new and learn new skills.

5) HAVE FUN

Who are the members? 

Anybody who:

a)       Enjoys tinkering about in sheds and would welcome some company, whether a complete beginner of experienced expert.

b)      Would like to learn new practical skills.

c)       Wants to be engaged in projects that benefit the wider community.

Cannock Chase Shed is open to all over the age of 18 (Health and Safety requirement).

What type of projects do we undertake?

a) Heritage Restoration Projects working with local Museums and Heritage Groups.

b) Woodwork and Metalwork Projects often working with other community groups.

c) Electronic and Robotic Projects.

d) Equipment repairs, mechanical and electrical.  

e) Other projects brought to the Shed by its members.

Most projects involve members working together in small groups.
