I cannot recommend Nicola from Toad's School of Driving enough. After having a horrible experience with another driving instructor I thankfully found Nicola and never looked back. Nicola has got a personal caring touch, she is so knowledgeable and has got such an easy logical way to explain the safe and correct way of driving, from complicated roundabouts (that used to scare me so much) to all of the manoeuvres. I really enjoyed her teaching technique, my lessons were fun and relaxed, but created around my driving ability and improvement needs, I felt myself growing more and more confident and relaxed with each lesson. Nicola helped me to develop from a new nervous driver to a confident "I can do it" person, so I passed my driving test first time, despite the rain and wet roads.

I am so happy I decided to learn with Toad's School of Driving. My instructor was Ben, who was so brilliant. Ben was really calm and understanding as well as being a great teacher. He was so supportive and helped me get through my nerves. Not only were the lessons fun, but they were also very well constructed and informative, and I looked forward to every lesson. I am so happy I learned to drive with such a great school and I whole heartedly recommend them.

Had my VW Passat 2lt tdi 140bhp remaped to give more torque for towing a caravan. Excellent service really pleased with results, car running smoother extra torque noticeable. When using without caravan in tow economy much improved which is a bonus that i wasn't really expecting. Aled excellent person for doing the job, patient, polite knowledgeable and very carefull with vehicle whilst undertaking, will use again in future and recommend to friends.

Toad Driving School has been a fantastic learning experience for me. An individual that was petrified of the whole test experience, and couldn't even comprehend the idea of one day being a liscence holder, was transformed into a confident, happy, grounded driver. I thank Toad Driving School for there patience, there kind words, and most of all there compassion and willingness to succeed. Sue once told me, 'without negativity, you have the ability to do anything' and it turns out she was right!! I know that I've left Toad Driving School with not only a liscence and a lifetime of freedom, but great friends that I will stay in contact with for a life time.

Ever since I bought my Volvo C30 T5 over a year ago it had been on my mind to have the car remapped. I found the power delivery (although powerful) to be a bit 'lumpy' and was a little bit akin to driving a diesel. I called Aled and after a brief chat on the phone I had decided that I would go ahead and since he was the most reasonably priced too I didn't have to think twice. After driving the car for a couple of weeks now it is easy to notice that the power delivery is much more linear, and the power and torque difference is very substantial! Also I am yet to notice a drop in the fuel efficiency which is a bonus too. All in all I am very pleased and would certainly recommend his services to anyone thinking of having their car remapped.

I chose Toad's school of driving, as I had so many positives recommendations from friends. Sue is absolutely the best driving instructor I could have ever asked for. Her positivity makes you want to learn more and more. She gives clear and concise instructions and takes as much time as is needed, with lots of different teaching methods, I feel safe and confident. I look forward to every lesson.

After reading the reviews here I didn’t even consider another driving school... Sue goes above and beyond what you could hope for from a driving instructor… an absolutely fantastic teacher that really knows her stuff! Incredibly patient and kind, I've always felt completely safe and been given plenty of support. She has helped me build confidence and skills whilst having plenty laughs along the way! I can't recommend toad's enough! Thank you Sue!
