On Saturday 9th June, The Eye are reuniting for one night only!

Formed 18 years ago, The Eye are a bunch of likeminded, Cambridge based friends and musicians who love to play live. After a few years pursuing other interests, they have got back together to perform at the newly opened Storeys Field Centre with all proceeds going to their friends at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. The Storeys Field Centre has been nominated for a RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) East regional award, so come and enjoy a fun evening in a unique building.

The Eye, a nine-piece party band, boasting a horn section and harmonised vocals are the kind of band you start dancing to at the start of the set, all the way to the end.

Andrew Murray, one of the singers and spokesperson for the band said “We’re really looking forward getting back together and playing for our friends, old and new. We’ve been working on some new songs but will also do all the favourites as well” he added, “we hope to have a great young Cambridge based singer supporting us, so it should be fun for everyone’.

The Eye play a great set of popular party covers including Stevie Wonder's 'I Wish’, a selection of rhythm and blues classics and a rock and roll version of 'Rockin’ Robin’.

Tickets £12.50 in advance or £15 on the evening.
