Best hotel visited, would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel, rooms are of exceptional high standard evening meals well prepared and breakfast was plentiful and much varied, Great Hotel will be back here if ever in the area.

There's not great deal of choice of decent hotels in the Bury or Rochdale area. This is by far the best.
Nice modern rooms but the walls are paper thin and therefore you can occasionally have a disturbed sleep, in my case a grizzly bear was snoring really loud next door.
The bar is excellent, food, drink, football on massive TV and staff are excellent.
Plenty parking too, but very annoying that the Bentley's, Range Rover's and Porsche's all park in the disabled spaces at the front.

They tried too hard with the coffee machine in the bedroom. OTT. It was a top quality machine and took too long to learn how to make a good cup of coffee. They were insufficient staff on reception and it did seem that the prime interest of the staff was the coffee bars, pub, and restaurants.
