Another stay with no hiccups. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, from arrival to departure. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Didn't have time to utilise all the facilities, but all I did use was drama free. Would definitely recommend it to all. Not as cheap as other accommodation, but well worth the extra cost

Easy to locate, nice large car park, checkin is either self service or a really friendly team member will help you, super fast, club room is massive large comfy bed, massive TV with full sky package so watching the olympics with ease of flicking channels was added plus, aircon is the dyson is I sat watching that for a few minutes (sad I know) food was delicious, didn't use the free pool with Club room but would next time.

Bathroom needs a little section of a review to itself, love the glass shower wall, shower has a massive rain head and help relax you after a long day and you don't need to run around the shower to get went like some hotels.

Hotel is having a mini make over so please
Don't let he bare walls and floor out you off.

Being renovated so it is being improved. Lacking in gents lockers during this work, needs to provide more. Otherwise nice enough stay with pleasant helpful staff. Business trip so will probably stay again

Husband and I ate Sunday lunch at the Verve restaurant within the hotel. We found the meal excellent value for money - similar to what you would pay for a main course in many restaurants (£13.95 / head). We had vegetable soup with some excellent bread followed by a visit to the fish course table. There we found a selection of salads, prawn cocktail, smoked salmon with creme fraiche (all in individual pots), pork pie, smoked mackerel, pate and a selection of breads. On to the main course - a choice of beef, gammon and turkey with roast and mashed potatoes, kale, cauliflower, sprouts and carrots with the usual sauces and accompaniments. Then the dessert table - lemon cheesecake, chocolate mousse, fresh fruit salad and ice cream - again all in individual pots. The ice cream brings out the child in you as you can decorate it with hundreds and thousands, smarties, mini crunchies, marshmallows and nuts. When you do feel stuffed to the gills the waitress appears to offer a dish of Eton Mess. A meal not for the faint hearted but very good value for money. The staff are friendly and currently a complimentary bottle of wine is given to each member of the hotel gym when you pay the bill. A place to visit again!

We booked a double room for a 2 night stay while attending a family wedding. The online booking was very easy and included breakfast. We had just completed a 4 hour journey so were looking forward to getting into our room and enjoying a meal in the restaurant. However on entering the hotel there was a queue at the reception and we were told that the computer system had crashed. The couple in the queue in front were booked into the wrong room and it was unsettling to witness the exchanges between the customers and the hotel staff .It was another 30 minutes before we finally were allocated a room but not before the room attendant had to go and check to make sure that the room was actually unoccupied and ready for us.After all the commotion we realised it was almost 10PM. so we just decided just to order room service. We did not even receive an apology for the delay.Other than the initial inconvenience,I would say the room facilities were very good although the view across the rooftop was less than inspiring but the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.

excellent and clean hotel but a little noisy late into the night, other guests didn't have adequate respect for those that were trying to sleep, great gym and spa facilities - very large, clean, new. bkfst buffet was perfect

Mainly very good have now stayed many times and improvements made are for the better. I like the Club rooms in the annexe to the hotel as you have a view of the river and it is quieter than the rooms in the main hotel part. I always ask for a room in the area preferred.

Nice hotel but ruined by noisy neighbours in room above clumping about till well after 1am. Very rude waiter brought the wrong dish for dinner and simply wandered off when I pointed it out. Then had to go hunting for another waiter to get the correct meal.
