Room well applianced and comfy bed. Some black mould around the seals in the shower which needs attention.
Main issue was the noise of other guests through the walls all the way through the night and running up and down the halls with no consideration given the time. Disturbed nights sleep unfortunately

Me and my partner booked a room under the early autumn sale price £35 of which we upgraded to a club room for £10 and added the autumn sale dinner for two and an early check in bringing total booking price to £88, great price paid in full👍
When we arrived at the hotel we were told we had an outstanding balance of £47. I showed the front desk my booking confirmation to which the young man replied no that's just for the room your meals and check in are outstanding. I knew I had paid everything I needed to but was continually told for 20 mins I was wrong and then was told "we have recently migrated systems,check in and see if it rectifies in morning!
Instead of enjoying our stay spent most of the evening checking emails and bank statements to prove payment was in full! Really disappointed and affected our stay.
Morning came and an invoice has been slipped under the door🙄 we get ready to leave and speak to a lady on front desk to explain we are not paying the 'outstanding charge' and to leave details of how to contact us to resolve! Lady does a quick check and says it's because the new system they have moved to has over charged and not recognised the promotion price!
She explains this was a simple resolve which should have been sorted upon arrival as the gentleman who was adamant we pay trained her in this exact situation ! Balance cleared and off we go !
The whole thing was really unprofessional and really put a grey cloud over our stay
Room and facilities were great however

Our wedding day.... I can honestly say that it was the best day of our lives everything was catered for by both the wedding planner Kristina and the organiser Tina who helped us to enjoy our big day without any problems whatsoever. As a team they were fantastic and went above and beyond our expectations, not one of our guests complained as a matter of fact they all praised Kristina and Tina for being efficient and professional. So thank you The village hotel in Bury for having hired such fantastic staff, and a special thank you to our favourite two ladies Kristina and Tina your both absolutely amazing thanx again Mr & Mrs Jones ❤️❤️

They made our day amazing at the Village hotel in Bury. Nothing was too much trouble. Tina1 & Tina2 helped make the day a dream all the staff were so helpful. Wonderfull food. Great facilities. If you want a dream wedding come here. I can't praise them enough. From start to finish they really look after you. No faults found. We did everything within budget and I'm not on mega wages. I don't know what else too say. But thank you soo much to all the staff. You looked after everyone of us.

We stayed for my mums birthday, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make her birthday special. The rooms are lovely, the pool is lovely and the breakfast is gorgeous. We would highly recommend the hotel!

It is a beautiful hotel, my wife and I had a FANTASTIC weekend, keep up the good work.The rooms were spotless and the food fantastic, we didn't have time to use all the facilities as we were there for a wedding, but we will be returning.

Comfortable stay, friendly, helpful staff, good value for the cost of the stay. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, the only problem was that there was nowhere to sit to do hair/makeup with a mirror. Also the room could have benefited from having a suitcase rack. But overall a pleasing stay.

We went for a hen do on a theme night. Stayed overnight with breakfast. I have no complaints at all. Room lovely + clean, decor beautiful. Comfy bed, staff very helpful. Breakfast was brilliant. Thoroughly recommend xx

My company needed a suitable venue to run an IT-based taining session for staff based in the North West. The meeting room was clean and tidy and the facilities (including an extra-long HDMI cable for the presenter) were excellent.
Alison, the business services manager, was fantastic and was very attentive throughout the day and supported us brilliantly.
Lunch and refreshments were really nice and served on time and the staff reminded us that they were available.
A new business centre is being developed, which I had a quick tour of during the day, which looks excellent and I would definitely recommend using this venue for future sessions.
The hotel rooms themselves were very pleasant and excellent value. Lots of space and solid WiFi throughout the hotel which made delivering the training we were doing really easy.
From a business point of view, 10/10 - very happy.
