Having got rid of an old and tired looking porch wanted to replace with new modern triangular roofed one in keeping with the house's 1920/30's character. Used Mark and Scott before when we bought the house so had no hesitation in using them once more and again the quote was very reasonable. They haven't changed (except Mark is a fair bit slimmer) and the job was done to the same high standard as I expected. Builders who actually put a full day in and keep you informed of progress plus a bit of a perfectionist, which is always good for the customer. Very pleased with the end result. Would again recommend.
1920's semi in major need of refurbishment - new electrics, heating, plastering, walls knocking down - RSJ's installed, some new windows and French doors. Always a bit worrying if you don't know any builders and the ones recommended either not interested or way too expensive. Decided to go with Mark & Scott which thankfully turned out to be one of my better decisions. Being an old house, lots of issues but both totally honest about what was involved and how to fix. Always kept informed of progress and not afraid to advise on a better/cheaper way, and pointed out the little things you just don't think of. Payments split so you only pay for what is done as the project progresses. Work is of a high standard, on time and was always tidy at the end of each day including sub-Contractors. Couple of up front builders doing a good job for a reasonable price with whom you can have a chat and a bit of a laugh with. Would definitely recommend.
