Attended my friends wedding. Meal and canopes lovely. When we arrived, room still being hovered and the staff knocked over the champagne and didn't clear it up and no glasses laid out for orange juice. After the speeches the service went drastically downhill - had to request for tables to be cleared, they cleared them ONCE! Had our own bar but the staff were sitting, hiding on the floor and couldn't be seen so we had to ask at reception on more than one occasion to be served. Hotel guests were walking thru the function- no napkins for buffet.
None of this stopped us enjoying the wedding and the dj was fab.

First time staying in a Village hotel, and to be honest it’s not how it’s advertise. The reception was beautiful, nice staff upon check in lobby it self looked very nice, clean tidy.
Went to my room and as I work for a huge hospitality chain myself, I wasn’t that empress. They were few marks around the walls that marked with black marker and it’s quite obvious. Linen, I’m a bit fussy due to do housekeeping, there were black/red marks on them. When I realised it was too late at night and I didn’t want night to get me new pillows cases and I wanted to sleep so I slept without any. The carpets could do with a rug doctor them as stained, therefore. I don’t think it was worth what I paid for which I think it was too expensive but.. If these were sorting I’d give a 5 stars hotel as I’d expect this at my hotel. But I’d happily stay again.
Thank you x

Great entertainment and overnight stay when we visited. Easy check in, nice clean room with a comfy bed. Went in the Pub and Griil and we had chicken wrap with fries that were hot, fresh and tasty with good, friendly service. Function room was a nice size with plenty of seating without it feeling over crowded and the bar service was good and helpful throughout the evening, There was plenty to choose for our breakfast that was all fresh and hot, with a good choice of drinks. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful.

Trendy room with a big bed but no phones in the room to directly reach Reception which caused hassle We were upgraded to a Club Room and the bed was huge and very comfortable. There are NO PHONES in the room which is ludicrous!!! Our room had not been cleaned (even though we had left the sign on the door to do it). We had to come down to reception (as we couldn't phone it and asked if we could have clean towels and toilet rolls. This did not happen so we had to go downstairs again to reception and ask. We had tried to phone on our mobiles to reception but couldn't get through. This system is obviously in place because The Village owners do not want to have a Reception Desk with more staff to answer direct telephone calls as it will cost more, but it would make the experience much more comfortable and less hassle.

Village Hotel Bury Facilities were great, clean and well maintained. Room felt spacious and comfortable Waited a little long at the bar to be served, however this was not a big problem.

Great location, friendly and attentive staff, perfect location for business meetings, catch up with friends or night out.
Just off the motorway junction and surprisingly very little road noise, there is ample parking space - ensure that you enter your registration number to avoid parking fine.

We have used this venue for a few years now as a business for hotel rooms, to event planning and birthday parties. The staff have always looked after us well, recently Jess and Rebecca helped me out on 2 separate occasions, Jess helped me plan an event that went well and F=Rebecca helped me very last minute which was a life saver... Thank you to the village and all the staff - keep up the good work xx

Amazing stay, lovely place and very helpful staff would book again The staff were excellent and willing to help, we had a slight issue with our room, but they changed our room straight away and we’re very apologetic. Amazing staff Parking, I didn’t think parking should of been payable when you are resident there.

Would stay there again but will save £20 and have breakfast elsewhere. Staff nice, hotel looked good, prices reasonable. Breakfast disappointing.

I recently arrange a Charity Ball at the Village Hotel Bury within the large function room. Rebecca the coordinator for the Village was great, always quick responding to any queries and generally helping put the night together with my requests.
Also Megan who was in charge on the night made sure the night was a success responding and arranging staff to last minute change of plans/requests.
The Charity Ball was a huge success and part of that was down to the Village staff and when we plan the next one we wouldn't consider looking at any other venue
