We stayed 2 nights. The first on a Sunday when the couple in the next room seemed to have verbal diarrhoea, talking loudly until after 4 a.m., which wasn't helped by the sound insulation being less than ideal, however....................we were offered a change of room, but declined when told the offending couple had checked out.
Night 2 was lovely, quiet and very relaxing.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, particular thanks to Sarah who handled our complaint about the noise in a brilliant manner.
The bar gets a bit lively, but there are plenty of seats in the reception area where you can take a drink, and prices are verty reasonable for a hotel.

Been to this chain of hotels before so knew what to expect. We paid £70 for b&b so excellent value. We liked that it’s just of the M60 but not noisy. Friendly staff at reception and in the Village Pub. Happy hour as well and £2.50 a pint or for house wine which I had the Rose and was fine. We ate here and thought the burger stacks were very tasty. Room was dark but spacious as small window but perfectly clean and a great bed. The breakfast was a bit of a let down as quite limited choice of hot food. Didn’t like the yoghurt and granola in small pots very cutting corners here. However it was adequate for our stopover. Also 5 mins by car to the Rock shopping centre in Bury. Hotel busy with people having meetings etc and using the gym.

What a venue. I had my 40th birthday there last year and they couldn't do enough to help out. The rooms were lovely and we took advantage of the residents bar. I have also used on many other occasions and I love it.

Good value room and very little to complain about. All was good. the location was excellent for us. I would recommend this hotel if you need to visit the area. the service was great at the bar. We did use the resurant or bar for food but what we seen looked good.

It might have had a lick of paint and a play with the layout since i was last at The Village but i found the room on the first floor noisy, from traffic noise, the bar below and doors banging constantly through the night.
Check in/out was smooth and efficient. Bar area was good, decent bar meals although breakfast was a little disappointing in quality. All the staff i encountered were pleasant and friendly.

Excellent for my business trip. Facilities and Service didn't disappoint with all staff I spoke with being courteous. Rooms presented extremely well. I arrived late and was greeted quickly and efficiently, breakfast the following day was spot on.

Stayed over last weekend. Room was great as it always is. Check in is abit character less now , no interaction with a human which I suppose some people might like but I would prefer to be greeted by a staff member not an iPad.
Food in the restaurant was sub par the soup I had for starter was very nice however the burger was dry and inedible and was returned. Left the restaurant hungry. Waiting staff were great and offered to swap but given the fact I would have had to eat my main alone as my partner had finished I just left it. £15 for a burger of that standard is abit of a disgrace to be honest.

Good hotel, good location. Breakfast good value and good service. Food in pub and evening menu very expensive. Room very well designed and bathroom clean. Only gripe was expensive and limited choice of food.

Attended a wedding. We were there all day. Generally the service was great. Some front of house staff were quite rude and had an attitude towards customers. This was very off putting. She was very unhelpful during the busy period of being part of the bridal party and lots of other things happening at the time. She must learn some manners and people skills. Rest of the staff were lovely and very friendly. One of them even gelled the bridesmaid do up get dress on the corridor! The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was clean ready for use.

Went with a group of girls for a spa weekend. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming. The bar was really busy on the Friday night. The bar prices were reasonable. The food was OK too. The breakfast was value for money. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and obliging. The spa treatments were lovely. I had a back massage and body scrub. The scrub was amazing and my skin felt lovely afterwards. The pool is quite big and is child free between 12 and 2pm. The sauna, steam room and spa are quite small. Overall, a really enjoyable weekend. I would go back again. Nearly forgot it's about a mile from Bury town centre which has a market, lots of shops and bars. Definitely worth a walk. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in a club room which was very comfortable. Loved the coffee machine and the Dyson fan. The shower was great and very nice toiletries too. Breakfast was very good and plentiful
I checked in online and my mobile phone became my key, which worked really well for me, there were staff on hand if you needed any help. Leisure facilities were very good too, with separate swimming and leisure lanes in the pool alongside steam, sauna and jacuzzi

The room walls are paper thin; additionally the hotel is used for events so it can get very noisy. The beds are also quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was cold and tasteless, and I find it quite cheeky that you can't check in until 3, but you must check out by 11. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and clean.

Had our wedding at the village on 07th October. Went for the full loved up package including the ceremony at the hotel and the day was perfect from start to finish the staff couldn't do enough to help. Louise our wedding coordinator was brilliant and took all the stress of planning away as I was confident in leaving everything to the staff knowing they do a fantastic job.
The hotel itself and rooms are fantastic and facilities excellent. Cannot fault anything at all and we are both so pleased we chose this hotel to hold our wedding.

I stayed here for two nights while visiting family and after reading some of the reviews here I was worried standards had fallen since my last visit a few years ago, I am happy to say this was not correct and I had excellent service and a very enjoyable stay.

From the minute I checked in the service by reception staff was fantastic I arrived early and spoke to staff rather than using self service and was even shown to my room personally as the receptionist wanted to make sure room was ready. My room was lovely and spacious with a large screen TV on the wall with sky TV very comfortable king size bed even a fan if needed and an iron and ironing board.

I used the gym during my stay which has been upgraded since my previous visit and I was extremely impressed with the new top of the range machines and what an excellent range of classes on offer as well.

I ate in the village pub on my first night great service and tasty food. I also used the Starbucks coffee shop and again had no issues with this great to have that on site as well.

Plenty of free parking and it is in a perfect location for shopping in Bury takes only 5 mins by car.
In summary I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I will certainly stay again when back down visiting family.

Large clean friendly hotel with Lots of food choice, great rooms, great spa, easy parking. Check in yourself hassle free no queues, good location close to the motorway. And they even have a Starbucks. You can pay a small fee to have all sky channels including sports.

We were over the moon with the service we received from Louise and her wedding planning team. The bedrooms were very clean, tidy and well equipped. The room for our wedding was just perfect and all our guests complemented it. The bar staff were very friendly and accommodating along with the check in staff. We will certainly be back!!
