I recently used The Velvet Stem for a last minute bouquet for a friend's birthday whilst I was working away and could not recommend them more. The service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and a gorgeous, high quality bouquet was delivered on time for my friend's birthday. The message from my friend was “ Oh my god - those flowers are gorgeous xxx”. I will definitely be using The Velvet Stem for all of my orders from now on in x

Amy was so helpful when I asked for two bouquets for end of year presents. She gave me a timescale and kept me up to date with when she would deliver. These flowers were absolutely stunning and I’m so happy with them. She is very reasonable in price and couldn’t fault her service and quality of the flowers. Will definitely order again

FOMO worthy peonies - and incredible prices!
Several of my friends had bought peonies from Velvet Stem, and they looked stunning so I went and bought some for my mum and I.
I had never heard of Velvet Stem before, but seeing my friend's photos of their flowers, I knew that I could trust her.
Her flowers were half the price of high street florists (I paid £12 for 5 peonies, high street florists sell 5 stems for £40!!) and yet somehow significantly better quality than high street florist flowers!
Amy runs her business from home, pick-up is super easy (even if you don't drive, I got the bus) and she takes the time to explain how best to look after the flowers so that they thrive for longer - which I really appreciated. Using her advice, my peonies that I bought 10 days ago are still going (photo attached from today vs the day I bought them!)

I’d told my husband to stop buying me flowers as I was always disappointed in the bouquets I got from various florists……that was until Velvet stem! We’ve had a few bouquets now and they are just stunning!

Bought 3 gorgeous bouquets for three ladies for Mother’s Day. I only had a little budget but Amy went above and beyond to make sure my arrangements looked so beautiful and expensive! I loved them and so did the recipients! Thanks so much!
