Had a wonderful overnight stay here. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the young girl on reception was particularly efficient and friendly. Food was presented beautifully and our room was fresh, clean and had excellent view. With free wifi available and ideal location would def recommend.

Brilliant. Clean, quiet and professional.

Having stayed in quite a few other hotels around Bury the RedHall Hotel is head and shoulders above the rest.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody needing to stay overnight near Bury

Like one of the recent reviewers, I too had a Groupon voucher for the Legends restaurant. Very nice ambience about the place but a certain more mature member of staff who was running the restaurant was extremely rude and very unfriendly; in fact he totally ignored us when we arrived to take our table and continued to talk to a member of staff. The other members of staff were ok (not overly friendly or helpful) but it appeared that customers who are on vouchers were not given the same attention. I thought that was the whole point..... To encourage new customers! Also, in a restaurant of that 'quality' you would expect the waiter to take your coat and not have to put it over the back of your chair. Could do much better on service.

I just got married here yesterday, absolutely fabulous staff. Everyone had a smile on their faces, polite and friendly. Absolute credit. A special mention to Warren who helped me arrange everything and always made himself available if i needed anything at all. It was so reassuring to know i had help along the way! The food was amazing, everyone commented on how delicious the homemade food was. The rooms are pristine, especially the honeymoon suite. All guests had a brilliant day and night and were complimentary about the hotel and staff.
Thank you for making our day as special as it was!

We booked this hotel as the hotel that our friends were staying in nearby was fully booked and boy were we pleased that we did! We had a lovely spacious and clean room at a very reasonable price. The staff were extremely courteous and service was excellent. I've stayed in lots of hotels and the breakfast here was up there with the best. I'd definitely stay here again. Well done red hall hotel.

Excellent facility from start to finish. Service, food, rooms, wedding coordinator warren, bar and reception. Little too warm in the rooms but soon sorted by the air con being switched on.
Chris and his wife pip had the most amazing day ever . It was worth every penny for making their day the best they could have asked for.
We had a close up magician, Ian lavin who just stole the show. He was amazing and worth his wait in gold. Look up his website if you want a professional to entertain your guests.
Everyone enjoyed the day and I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding or any major celebration. Thanks again warren.

We took advantage of sampling the fine dining at one of our local hotels with a Groupon voucher with a couple of friends, and we were all delighted.
We were greeted by the head waiter, who after warning us there would be a slight delay, took our orders from the a la carte menu.
Beetroot & Ribblesdale Goats Cheese, Confit of Chicken Terrine, followed by a couple of steaks, and Monkfish 'Bhaji's, extra of Hand Cut Chips.
After a drink in the bar area, we were shown to our table in the restaurant, where starters were promptly served, along with our "Groupon inclusive" glasses of wine.
Not an unexpected slight wait again, but not too long & the mains followed (and the side after a prompt). All were beautifully cooked, served, and delicious.
A couple of "inclusive" desserts for those who hadn't had starters, (plus one Paid-for) followed, again all as nice as before.
Excellent !
Having seen the bar-menu & "specials" whilst waiting, this place is not simply for special ocassions as it is perceived locally. It is certainly on our list of call-again places.
Some guests in at the same time as ourselves were complaining about wait-times - but having been forewarned on arrival we had less of a problem with this.
The only thing which was an issue was hotel-bar prices - over £20 for 2 x wines & 2 x beers !

Stayed here for a family wedding. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, especially the lady on reception who took our booking. She moved heaven and earth to ensure our stay went trouble free. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends

Arrived on Sunday with voucher and were told it was Sunday dinner only but the voucher was for a la Carte? Another party was in the same predicament and had the text saying - a la carte 7 days a week . After lots of debate the manager came and was extremely courteous and he offered us the Sunday lunch free with a bottle of wine thrown in!! Then he said we could use the voucher for a la Carte at a later date! We were extremely pleased at this outcome and thought the offer was very generous! Two happy bunnies! Ps the Sunday lunch is delicious and would definitely recommend it.

Two of our daughters wedding receptions and one of our grandaughters christening receptions have been held at The Red Hall Hotel, on all three special occasions the staff, food and service were all exceptional. (it says it all when two sisters want the same venue for their special day!!) We have also dined in the Legends Restaurant including an italian night and New Year, once again exceptional from the warm welcome when you arrive in the bar to the food which is excellent and the very friendly staff, who nothing is too much trouble for.A big thanks to Warren,Darren and Pepe and their teams for always making our visits so enjoyable. We decided to hold my mum's 60th birthday party here - the function room was the perfect size for our party of 40 and the hotel offers great value. the function staff made the process of booking & arranging the party really straight forward and stress-free.

On the night, we were really pleased with how the party went and the guests kept commenting on how great the hotel & food was and the staff were so accommodating it was unreal - they did everything from letting me use the hotel fridge for cakes (when I had forgotten to arrange it beforehand) to running off to make fresh egg mayo sandwiches when a guest mentioned that they couldn't eat butter!

perfect for parties, meal or a stay over
All in all we couldn't believe the service and we definately got value for money!

My wide and I booked a two course meal as a groupon deal, £24 all in for two people, a bargain when you consider it to include a bowl of carrot and coriander soup with fresh bread and a 8oz fillet steak with chunky chips, peppercorn sauce and rocket salad washed down with an inclusive glass of wine! And just because it was cheap it didn't mean the food was thrown together and bland, on the contrary it was very tasty and cooked perfectly, I would not hesitate to recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our 2 course meal with a good selection of starters and mains with wine on a special deal with the Red Hall Hotel, excellent customer service, warm and friendly staff, well presented, could not do enough to please. Hotel was lovely and would like to stay. Will certainly be returning!!! Hotel well placed for access to M66 motorway and Ramsbottom.

Stayed here to work each day whilst my partner was on a training course. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Free wifi in room. Breakfast was delicious. Great value for money and fab location for the motorway. Food prices were a little high for an evening meal so I would recommend The Parkfield Inn located nearby for dinner out :)

disappointed with the service when we arrived at the restaurant the bar was full of dirty glasses that never got cleared the large scruffy looking guy who passed as the head waiter seemed put out when we didn't order from the Sunday menu and asked for the alacarte menu when he seated us it was side by side when we asked to be seated across from each other he seemed more put out .he then took the wine glasses off the table .I had a word with the bar man who took over our service he was very good but the moment had been lost by now we gave up on the wine and left the meal was just ok unlike the first time we went there when the meal and service was very good. wont go again

A large group of us were at the Red Hall from all over the UK for a surprise family celebration. We had many requests including early arrivals, a change of room, and a disabled couple with very specific needs and the hotel met every request with a can do attitude. The rooms were spotless, with up to date contemporary decor and lovely bathrooms. Dinner, lunch and breakfast were all fab' too. This is absolutely the hotel we will be staying at on future visits to Manchester/Bury. Oh, and its extremely good value for money too!

I stayed at the Red hall recently for a wedding , the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly , breakfast in the morning was superb. a few negatives that I found with the hotel was in the room itself mine and my partners room was not very clean there was someone else's hair in the bathroom and bath. Now another point that was rather annoying was the fact that the walls seemed paper thin on the first night we was next door to another couple who were lets just say playing gymnastics ...a few hours later after much noise and screaming a member of staff came and knocked on next door because a few people on the corridor had complained about the noise. Apart from that I would probably stay at the hotel again.

Went here on New Years Day for a meal. Nice restaurant. Although my starter was what I had chosen, it was not to my liking and to my surprise the staff were more than willing to change it for me and actually ending up giving me something that wasn't on the menu.

We stayed here for my partners 40th birthday party which was held here. We stayed in The Princess Suite & what a room it is with an amazing bathroom & outdoor area. A great breakfast in the morning & friendly staff add to what made this a hotel to be recommended.

We attended my son-in-laws birthday party here this weekend, from arriving the staff where lovely, the rooms where of a good size and nicely presented very clean and everything you needed, the food both at the party and at breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and if you are a smoker they provided more smoking areas than any hotel I have been to, so I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to the management and staff for giving us a perfect weekend.

Stayed in Room 1 the other night.
Furniture is a little battered & the chair had some interesting stains on it but bed was very comfy
Found the TV was only receiving 3 channels when I came back from dinner & found that the sink plug mechanism was fauly the following morning.
Breakfast was Ok but the full english had been on the hot plate for a little while by the time that it was delivered to me (beans were a bit congealed)
I informed the reception staff of the problems in the room when I booked out but little interest shown apart from you should have informed us so that we can put it right (Hadn't fancied telling them about the TV at gone 11pm or the sink at 6.30am). No reduction to the bill offered
All in all not a bad place but wouldnt go out of the way to stop here

To all at the Red Hall I wanted to say a big thank you for a magical wedding day.
Also thank you to Sue and the Legends staff for a brilliant meal the night before... Food was excellent, especially the beautifully presented deserts!
Darren could not have been more supportive not only making sure the day went smoothly but also giving emotional support to me and my teary bridesmaids.
The room looked beautiful for the ceremony, the meal and the night time. Food was gorgeous and many of our guests commented on the quality.
All staff were friendly, professional, welcoming and to be honest saints for putting up with us until well into the early hours.
I could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our special day and myself and Billy thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Xxx

On arrival, large car park with designated disabled parking spaces. Hotel modern low-rise, looked very neat and welcoming.
Inside, the reception and publice areas al pristine, lots of wood and nice lighting, good reception area for welcoming wedding guests.
Bar area very nice, service excellent and staff pleasant and polite. Prices not extortionate.
The civil wedding was conducted in the 'Holcombe' suite which was beautifully set out and very spacious, also nice and warm on a very cold day. The ceremony was very nice, followed by bucks fizz and cordial for the children. Photo's followed, outside on a raised area at the side of the car park. Whilst this was happening people checked in to the hotel, again reception staff very pleasant, whilst the Holcombe suite was re-arranged for the meal.
The tables and chairs looked beautiful, the waiting staff were 'on the ball' with drinks, but were pleasantly in the background. The meal could not be faulted. I had a delicious prawn cocktail, my husband had soup, mains were chicken wrapped in bacon with delicious vegetables, and poached salmon with vegetables, then we both had cheesecake, all of which were delicious. The service was faultless.
Again after the meal we moved out of the room and people had drinks or went to their rooms prior to the evening celebration.
We had room 9, which was near to the the reception, up about 5 steps, then down a corridor. It was very spacious, comfortable twin beds, with comfy pillows, very nice and clean, lovely bathroom, tea and coffee-making facilities provided as well. High quality towels and some toiletries provided. Only comments would be that the decor was a little tired, and a small patch of damp in one corner needed dealing with. Breakfast was pleasant, many choices, help-yourself to pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, juice, and order one of the hot breakfasts. We both had the full-english which was very good. Sausage and bacon of good quality, and black pudding, plus all the usual beans, egg, tomatoes etc.
