We wanted an Hotel to visit family in Ramsbottom. When we booked the room I was told that the Saturday evening was fully booked but Will (i am sure this is who it was)messaged me within 30 minutes to confirm he was able to find us rooms for the Saturday night so our break was not shortened. The staff this includes domestics, bar , restaurant and receptionists were all very pleasant, friendly, professional and very, very helpful. The breakfast both hot and continental was excellent. We took my mother who is currently recovering from a major operation, the Hotel was happy to allow us to arrange for a hire wheelchair to be delivered for use during our stay and disabled rooms were provided which were excellent. On one night we could not get the lamps to work in my mothers room. The receptionist was very helpful she came with new bulbs immediately and light was restored. The hotel is in an ideal location for visiting East Lancs and Manchester and we will definitely be visiting it again.

Not been here for a couple of years but revisiting was lovely. Staff still great and helpful. Breakfast still the best ever. Rooms really nice. Were there for the bank holiday weekend and the rates were good but I understand that there are really good deals to be had at less busy times. Good to see Pepe and Will were still there.

We stayed for two nights at Red Hall and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay, we had a double room at the back of the hotel, the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, when we checked in 'Will' was very friendly and helpful. The staff waiting on at breakfast we all cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them, a great choice was a available for breakfast, continental or a huge freshly cooked full English breakfast. Thank you to all the staff for an excellent break.

We have been visiting the Red Hall for several years now and I have to say that it is my favourite hotel by far. We only live 10 miles away but we enjoy the place so much we have been for the last 4 weekends! It ticks every box for us - the surroundings are beautiful, the staff very friendly and welcoming, rooms very clean and spacious, and the food is outstanding. I had a fillet steak last night that was cooked to perfection, probably the best steak I've ever eaten. This morning I decided to try something different instead of the full english which I always choose. I went for the eggs benedict which always looked appetizing. It was more than that - absolutely gorgeous, and much lighter than a full english. Anyway, I think the measure of a place is how well you get to know the staff and how they welcome you back. I must praise them all, Stephanie on reception, Pepe and Deepak in the restaurant, Lesha (sorry if spelt incorrectly) on dining room duties, and finally Linzi from housekeeping. What a wonderful local hotel for the area to be proud of. Thank you.

Stayed here for business meetings over a couple of days. This is a well presented professionally run hotel. Food was of a good standard and bedroom very pleasant. Good meeting rooms with quality equipment and unobtrusive service. Would happily return.

Accommodation was clean and well appointed but avoid the rooms overlooking the
Reception area at the front as the coming and going during the night especially if there is a wedding can be noisy.
The Oscars restaurant where we had £40 to spend was well deserved of the extra we paid and landed up with a bill of £89.89p so nearly £50 on top.
The squid and the Duck was my wifes delight and I had the Salmon and Pork and although not exactly plentiful we found both very tasty. We were convinced by the excellent Matradee to have the sharing desert platter £13.95 and we were not disappointed in fact though it was difficult to find the crackling for the Pork dish being a skinny straw the one night stay and dinner was well worth our stop over.--Recommended

We held our wedding at the Red Hall. Warren the co-ordinator did an amazing job from start to finish. The staff were also amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food from the wedding breakfast to the full English the following day was delicious and our guests were very impressed. The Honeymoon suite, The Princess Suite was beautiful with a double shower, double bath, outside private terace and beautifully decorated room. I would highly recommend the Red Hall to anyone getting married, you will definitely not be disappointed

Very surprised how nice the hotel was .very well appointed rooms and bathrooms also very clean .
Breakfast could be better value as £40 for 4 is a bit excessive
Will Defiantly stay again when visiting family and friends . .

Having not been to the Red Hall for a few months, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they have improved what was already a great product. The restaurant has rebranded to Oscars and had a modern makeover that really qualifies it as a premier food destination in its own right. The new kitchen team have created a fantastic menu and I highly recommend the lamb.

The reception team are always smiling and happy to help - it makes areal difference and I was impressed that both of the girls on reception remembered who I was without me even having to tell them my name (I get the impression that this is more the norm than not - such a personal touch).

This is a great hotel made extraordinary by its fantastic staff - highly recommended and I will definitely return. Always call the team direct to get the best rate - they had a dinner, bed and breakfast offer that saved me a fair amount of money!

What a great hotel! Every element was truely five star - service, the room and the food all amazing! Stayed on their date night & the value was immense! £35 for two of us eating a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine...you just couldn't grumble. There was a singing duo as entertainment and George behind the bar makes a mean mojito!

We originally only booked Bed & Breakfast but the reception team actually called us to offer us an upgrade to include dinner on the date night offer - all we can say is a massive thank you, we had a great night and will definitely return next month (less than £100 for a complete mini break - brilliant).

I had not been to the hotel since the restaurant had been refurbished and I was not disappointed.
As well as the refurbishment they have obviously got a new chef as the food was excellent. You couldn't fault the service I received from when I arrived to when I left, the staff were attentive with out being intrusive. The room's were comfortable and clean, all I needed was somewhere to lay my head for the night so they it was ideal. I will definitely be back

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The Duck is highly recommended by myself from the Oscars restaurant it was delish... Room was comfortable and clean, mattress really soft which meant great night sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is not wanting to be in the centre of Manchester, nicer staying slightly outside.

Exceptional hotel, always a great welcome and friendly service.
The bedrooms have received a touch up since our last vist, really on top of their bedrooms here! nice & clean, fresh.
The restaurant has undergone a refurbish and new branding, which was really well done and the food very good indeed.
Worth the short journey into Manchester to stay here,

We booked this hotel as we had stayed at their sister hotel in Cumbria and thoroughly enjoyed it. This hotel is wonderful! The reception team were amazing, so friendly. A lady called Stephanie checked us in, what a lovely lady! We also dined in the new restaurant - amazing! They the same branding for the restaurant as the other hotel so we were worried it wouldn't meet the same standard but it certainly did! I have since recommended this restaurant to local friends and family for birthday's and other celebrations. Thank you Red Hall!

well managed comfortable and clean. Wide dinner menu in refurbished restaurant. Food over salted but good. Bury black pudding and scallops and cheese platter excellent if over salty. Sea bass well cooked. Horrible bath taps and mid temp bath water only and breakfast only open at 0630! Too late for our schedule. Very repeatable.

Stayed for three nights. Main facilities and restaurant are very nice. Sadly the room we were in was in need of a bit of TLC. Bedside cabinet had a piece missing, headboard screwed to the wall with big posidrive screws, and generally looked a bit tied. We did have a good stay however, the staff are great and very chatty and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really impressive and excellent choices well presented. Evening meal was perhaps not quite as good, great effort made but lacking a little 'flavor' but again well served and good efforts. We would stay again and although there are a few comments here it was not a negative experience, they are trying very hard and it is clear that they are achieving a lot but perhaps a little more care to detail needed.

I was at a wedding at the Red Hall Hotel a couple of weekends ago. What looks like a fairly unassuming venue on the outside is beautifully decorated on the inside. The restaurant/bar area is small but amble and the function suite looked lovely decorated for the wedding. Drinks were fairly priced and the food was good for the wedding breakfast. It did take them a while to bring out the mains but it was worth waiting for as the chicken was moist and the vegetables well cooked. One of the best wedding breakfasts I've had in terms of sit down, 3 course affairs. It was also nice to have a choice as many hotels now only have one choice of main, Red Hall provided a choice of starters, mains and desserts.

Our room was large and comfortable, newly decorated and although on the road side very quiet. The receptionist was really helpful to friends of ours who were travelling home via Manchester Airport and provided them with a list of options to get there.

The breakfast in the morning was the only disappointment, I think because of the numbers they struggled to serve us. We were left waiting for a long time to order and a long wait to bring out the food. Something had happened to the toaster and all the toast was coming out burnt but the staff were friendly which went some way to make up for the wait.
