I booked on line with Booking ,com which on arrival entitled me to a free drink so I had a glass of red wine with my dinner. Once again alone and on business I needed to work and found the room met the comfortable 'office' requirements. This aspect very important because I've been in rooms where there are no suitable places for the laptop and ended up doing my reports on the end of the bed and worse still no electrical outlets but fear not the Red Hall Hotel meets all the business traveler requirements.

Check in and check out was efficient and very friendly.

Being alone I used 'Room Service' and to my delight discovered that the extensive restaurant menu was available to room service customers for a very reasonable 'Tray Charge' of £2.50 -- my glass of red wine was the icing on the cake because the food was excellent.

To the rear of the hotel there is the car park but more importantly some attractive seating and a safe area for children to play.

I work in the M66 / M62 area quite often and feel that I have discovered a number one choice for the future

The Red Hall Hotel was the venue for our daughters wedding reception, excellent choice,we called in the previous night as some guests had arrived and were making a weekend of the occasion, the receptionist, bar staff and manager made us and our friends so welcome,i even had a sneak preview to the seating arrangements for the Wedding Meal.
As for the Wedding Day,everything went fantastic from the pre-dinner drink's to the meal and the night function(singer and disco) and buffet. Well supervised and efficient staff. This enabled our guests and ourselves,bride & groom to a brilliant memorable day.
We also stayed the night,as with many other guests and had a lovley clean room and a lovley cooked breakfast. I would fully recommend Red Hall Hotel,infact we have called in a couple of times since the wedding for evening drink's with our daughter her husband and some wedding guests. A big Thankyou Again to Warren and all the staff, we will be calling in soon. Regards.

We attended a Wedding Day back in July 2014 at the Red Hall Hotel.
From the ceromony & reception, then onto the evening buffet and disco it went without a hitch. Wonderful venue, attentive staff, the Red Hall did the Bride & Groom pround. Several guests stayed overnight subsequently commenting on the quality of the accommodation. So well done Red Hall.

A great hotel with delightful staff and great food this hotel is a hidden gem just outside Bury .We arrived early for a friends wedding on a Friday morning but were checked into an available room straight away . Having helped the bride and groom do their last minute chores we all sat down to a delicious afternoon tea with champagne .The food was tasty with sandwiches and delightful cakes .We ate in the restaurant that evening and due to another function in the hotel the service was a little slow but the food was good .The wedding the following day was superb starting with excellent canapés and champagne .The three course menu was faultless with the best sticky toffee pudding for desert .Highly recommended.

we stayed on 14th of june to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a fab time,we had a deal from groupon which included b+b with £40 dinner allowance the food was fabulous 10/10 the crowning glory was the sharing pudding a mini portion of all the puddings on the menu 100/10 AMAZING !!!!!! our room was comfy and clean and the staff were all excellent,friendly and efficient a special mention for Deepak and the smiley new Italian barman(sorry missed your name) will be back again soon and we will tell our friends about you thanks xx

We arrived at mid day. Early for our check in and explained I was unwell. The staff were brilliant. They got a room ready within 15 minutes and allowed us to check in early for which I was very grateful. We were on a Travel Zoo deal which included a meal in Oscars. I was unable to make to most of it but what I had was well presented and tasted very good. The room was of a good size and the bed very comfortable. All the staff we came across were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. I would recommend this hotel.

I attended a wedding in May - and having been to a few I know it's so easy for things to go wrong. The meal - Smoked Cheese & Black Pudding, Stuffed chicken and then a Sponge Pudding was beautifully cooked and presented, but the most noticeable thing was the plentiful amount of (mainly young) staff who got every starter, main meal out and dessert out at practically at the same time for every table. There was no skimping on staff which I have seen at a few events elsewhere. The bar areas were again well-staffed with no long queues for drinks, everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was even TVs in one bar showing the football for the fellas who needed a break from wedding chit chat. The room turnaround from Wedding meal to the function at night was quick also. I didn't stay but everyone seemed happy with their rooms who did so. Spotlessly clean linen for the meal, a lot of effort had been put in to make the wedding perfect. Would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this hotel, clean rooms, great out of the way location, quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed a few drinks at the bar and some food.

Room was smaller than normal but extremely comfortable and very clean.

Could not fault anything about this hotel, wonderful rooms, food, drink, amazing staff, what more to say! Can't wait to return and for two nights next time, thank you Red Hall for looking after us and making sure we had a fantastic stay :-)

OK...We booked this hotel at the very last minute on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to get in as there was a wedding that day and the hotel was very busy...We have an accommodation establishment ourselves and are at Visit England 4 Star and Gold Award standard and as such are extremely fussy about just about everything when it comes to food and accommodation.
Following our stay I just have to say that this hotel is by far in the top three of all the hotels we have ever stayed at in 30 years of travelling...Firstly, the staff are incredibly professional, friendly, helpful and full of humour...We were here because of a bereavement and they certainly lifted our spirits...so thank you all...The rooms are spotless and extremely comfortable although one tiny gripe if there has to be one is the shelf situated above the basin in the bathroom...Please move them if they sit above the basin as they greatly restrict the ability to have a proper wash and shave...We slept soundly all night as the beds were comfortable and the air was warm and fresh...In the morning we went for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our croissants followed by a full English...DELICIOUS. And thank you to the waiter from Columbia/Spain who took the time and trouble to explain where he originated from etc. He was a very bubbly chap who obviously genuinely loved his job and it showed.
Not forgetting the other staff though who were equally as friendly...
When we left, we forgot to hand the key in and the lovely receptionist very kindly called us before we left the village...On returning the key, we decided to have Sunday lunch and once again, I have to say that this was one of the best we have ever had...We could not fault this hotel in ANY area whatsoever and that includes the price.
The Management and Staff must be very proud of this hotel.

Stayed here on the 9th June, was in a great setting male parking and adequate WiFi. Room was clean and backed onto a large meadow with a few cows grazing and watch the sun set behind the trees, the room was modern and spacious. I have a great nights sleep and a lovely cooked breakfast. No issues at all.

The rooms and food are excellent although the food is expensive and not a lot of it. Stupid nouvelle style portions and the service in Oscars is quite slow.I would have gladly given our stay a five but for those two reasons the staff in the hotel are truly magnificent.

I visited the Red Hall hotel due to a business meeting in Ramsbottom. The hotel is easy to find as on the main road and loads of parking. The reception area is lovely and the hotel is spotlessly clean. My Room was on the ground floor and it looked out at amazing countryside. The bedroom was very comfortable and was of a superior standard. I ate in Oscars restaurant and I chose the Bury Black pudding starter which was delicious and I had the Sirloin as a main course served with Fat Chips. Everything was cooked to perfection. After a very comfortable sleep, I went to Breakfast and again there was lots of choice and all hot food is cooked to order. Although this hotel is a little more expensive to what you would pay at the local hotel, you get what you pay for. Totally exceeded all expectations. I will definitely book this hotel on my nex visit (providing there is room).

We stayed overnight after a golden wedding reception.the room was excellent and the venue and food for the reception was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.all the staff were very friendly and attentive.a wedding reception was being held at the same time but the hotel is obviously used to dealing with more than one special occasion.

Me & My Husband got married at the Red Hall Hotel 18th April. We have had many family weddings at the Red Hall & loved the days so much we decided to have ours here. We have had so many positive comments from guests about the hotel. The food was fantastic and the day went all to plan thanks to Warren who helped make the day truly special. The princess suite was stunning with lovely views & all the guests who stayed loved the rooms & facilities. Since our wedding we have been to the oscars for drinks to reminisce on the day. We would recommend the red hall hotel for its weddings, the restaurant and hotel.

Me and my husband got married here with our reception here too. Was an absolutely fantastic day. Warren and all the staff were amazing at making sure everything went just how we wanted it to. Had a wonderful day and over night stay here for my sisters wedding last weekend. The hotel is very well kept and staff were all very professional. The food served at the wedding was one of the best and I would certainly eat at this hotel again. Rooms were very smart and had everything you needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and table service which is a nice touch. My only complaint would have to be the bar prices which did have all the guests talking. Why spoil a beautiful hotel by overcharging for drinks when everything else about the hotel was perfect.

Convenient location and a nice balance between rural and convenient for town. One of those 'instant old' places. Oscars restaurant is good for one or two visits but the menu runs out of steam pretty quickly if you're a regular visitor. Staff try hard and are pleasant. If you need a clean, convenient hotel then this is probably the perfect place.... I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend a one night stay to a friend or business associate.

Four of us ate here on Friday 15th May to celebrate a 75th birthday. There was also a wedding party celebrating but apart from seeing a few of the guests around they did not impact on Oscars Restaurant at all. Our waiter did seem a little busy despite there being only one other party in Oscars but we were in no hurry so a "relaxed service" suited us to a T. As we are all pensioners we sometimes find we are over-faced with portions that are much too large and leave us no room for dessert. Luckily the Red Hall serve delicious food but in quite small portions so we could all eat all 3 courses on the menu and not feel bloated. The food was tasty and beautifully presented and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Being fairly local we did not stay at the hotel but just lunched there.

We wanted an Hotel to visit family in Ramsbottom. When we booked the room I was told that the Saturday evening was fully booked but Will (i am sure this is who it was)messaged me within 30 minutes to confirm he was able to find us rooms for the Saturday night so our break was not shortened. The staff this includes domestics, bar , restaurant and receptionists were all very pleasant, friendly, professional and very, very helpful. The breakfast both hot and continental was excellent. We took my mother who is currently recovering from a major operation, the Hotel was happy to allow us to arrange for a hire wheelchair to be delivered for use during our stay and disabled rooms were provided which were excellent. On one night we could not get the lamps to work in my mothers room. The receptionist was very helpful she came with new bulbs immediately and light was restored. The hotel is in an ideal location for visiting East Lancs and Manchester and we will definitely be visiting it again.

Not been here for a couple of years but revisiting was lovely. Staff still great and helpful. Breakfast still the best ever. Rooms really nice. Were there for the bank holiday weekend and the rates were good but I understand that there are really good deals to be had at less busy times. Good to see Pepe and Will were still there.

We stayed for two nights at Red Hall and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay, we had a double room at the back of the hotel, the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, when we checked in 'Will' was very friendly and helpful. The staff waiting on at breakfast we all cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them, a great choice was a available for breakfast, continental or a huge freshly cooked full English breakfast. Thank you to all the staff for an excellent break.

We attended a wedding here in April 2015. It was a lovely day, the food was lovely and the staff are friendly & professional. The hotel is very clean and tidy.

We have been visiting the Red Hall for several years now and I have to say that it is my favourite hotel by far. We only live 10 miles away but we enjoy the place so much we have been for the last 4 weekends! It ticks every box for us - the surroundings are beautiful, the staff very friendly and welcoming, rooms very clean and spacious, and the food is outstanding. I had a fillet steak last night that was cooked to perfection, probably the best steak I've ever eaten. This morning I decided to try something different instead of the full english which I always choose. I went for the eggs benedict which always looked appetizing. It was more than that - absolutely gorgeous, and much lighter than a full english. Anyway, I think the measure of a place is how well you get to know the staff and how they welcome you back. I must praise them all, Stephanie on reception, Pepe and Deepak in the restaurant, Lesha (sorry if spelt incorrectly) on dining room duties, and finally Linzi from housekeeping. What a wonderful local hotel for the area to be proud of. Thank you.
