Firstly th service was great can't fault the staff.<br><br>Food however needs improvement. I had eggs Benedict and the sauce was just awful it was dark yellow and thick set like custard with a bland taste. The balsamic vinegar that was all over the plate did not complement the dish at all.

Lovely little cafe/restaurant, visited early afternoon on a Wednesday and it was a good job we’d booked as it was practically full. Went with a friend and her elderly mum. They went out of their was to accommodate her mum with something she’d enjoy. All the food was lovely, we ate from the brunch menus and all enjoyed it. Cake selection was a little disappointing, we shared a large cherry and almonds cake and it was a bit average. We’ll certainly be going back.

I've been using Cosalea Brandlesholme as somewhere to work from over the past few months as it beats working at home.
The staff are always extremely pleasant, polite and helpful.
I'm a massive fan of the flat whites and the breakfast wrap (or breakfast crumpets or cheesy beans on toast)

One of the best Sunday roasts we have ever had, and we love a Sunday roast. Fresh, tasty, meat succulent, veg done to a t and wow the gravy was brilliant.

This is a community space venue that is coffee shop by day and a diner at night without compromising on atmosphere. Felt as much an evening venue as any restaurant I have visited. Great food, good value and friendly staff. Loved my Pornstar Martini cocktail too 😋

Was recommended by a friend so booked for a group of 16 for afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was very good,great selection and plentiful. We all ended up taking some food home. We were in The Vault so we're seperate from the main area. Very friendly staff nothing was too make trouble, a special mention to Ania who so welcoming and accommodating. That you We all had a wonderful time.xx

We hired out the volt at cosalea for my grandmas 70th birthday the staff were amazing and Ania was fabulous with helping to plan and organise the evening.<br>The food was great and they catered for gluten free excellently.<br>Everyone had the best evening.<br>Definitely Recommend 👍🏻

We had another lovely evening at the Hamer’s Arms.
The staff are consistently friendly and attentive.Good Pinot Grigio and went for the cheese and onion pie again - definitely one of the best I’ve had. You really feel you are getting proper homemade pub grub here.
Don’t understand why it is not busier - would definitely recommend.

We went with a party of 9.<br><br>One of the group never received their main course and had to wait until we'd nearly finished ours, though they did give a free drink on the house.<br><br>My son ordered steak (medium rare that came medium) with peppercorn sauce. It wasn't peppercorn sauce but gravy! I told him to complain but he was reluctant to do so.<br><br>My battered fish was nicely cooked but the batter was overcooked and the plate was too small for the dish.<br><br>The service was poor, even though it was not very busy! The unattentive service meant that they brought the dessert menu over and 15 minutes later nobody came to ask if we wanted anything.<br><br>This, coupled with steep prices for food and drink, means I won't be returning.

The Vault at Cosalea is perfect for a small party, in our case 20 people., but space for more. The room is very attractively laid out and the attention to detail and suggestions by our contact, Ania, were very helpful in finalising our requirements. We decided on the buffet option which proved to be very generous and excellent quality. Several of our guests had allergies and they were catered for very well. The service on the day, supervised by Ania herself, was relaxed but well timed and very professional. It was very gratifying to hear the positive comments of our guests. Would definitely recommend for your next function.
