I was on a training course upstairs from the cafe and only knew about this amazing cafe.
During my break I ordered bacon, cranberry and brie which was amazing.
I then came back later on sameday as I enjoyed it with my family after dancing class at MKDA.

We ordered hot chicken burger, homemade beef & potato pie and two kids meals.

The staffs and chef were very professional.

Driving past and thought we would call in. Never been before. My wife had the omelette that was perfectly made and was very nice. I had the homemade cheese and onion pie with triple cooked chips, pie was really nice, chips were ok, but I think they came out of a bag of frozen chips. Beans with both dishes were good quality. I had a pint of lager which was ice cold and very nice, my wife had the coffee, ask for it stronger unless you like weak coffee as we had to take it back and swop it. Second one was ok. All in all friendly staff, good service and good food at a reasonable price. Would go again if I was passing.

First time visiting. Lovely breakfast, crumpet stack for myself and full breakfast for my husband. Food freshly cooked after ordering, staff welcoming. Price comparable with others locally. Will definitely be returning.

We had Sunday dinner for 4, excellent food in a lovely environment with great service. No complaints whatsoever. Dog friendly too which is great for the area.

Kid-friendliness: 2 kids ate well

Booked for 18.30 almost empty, felt cold inside.
Seated at table the waitress was friendly she was on her own.
We ordered drinks, no dry white wine.
We all had the Tapas deal.
Food was plentiful perhaps a little to much for Tapas.we all enjoyed the food.
No dessert menu only churros and brownies off the counter, a bit of a let down.
Lacked atmosphere.
It's a shame there wasn't more people in this would have helped with atmosphere.
We left at 20.30 as it looked like it was ready to close.
Would I go back probably not.

Roasted veg was superb as opposed to the usual boiled veg you get in most carverys

Lovely food and brilliant service! We shared some starters from the main menu, highlights were the shepherd's pie croquettes & tempura king prawns! Good selection of drinks and beers on draft too. Would definitely recommend 🤗Food: 5/5  |  Service: 5/5  |  Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Chose our own seating place which was good and 3 persons stood behind bar. However when seated at the table was obviously that it had not been cleaned by previous guests and when placing our order had to request to staff if it was possible our table could be cleaned as had grease and previous food left on our table and when subsequentionally wanted to re order our drinks of tea and coffee had to ask for a new cup was required for tea. great surroundings however new and unexperianced level of staffing standards and attention to fine eating experience was lacking..
A customer had food served and then had to ask for some cutlery to enable then to eat it and had to then get up and ask for required sauces Food presentation looked amazing and delicious however your front of staff was the let down as 1 young girl was dancing and was so not aware of the customer needing assistance. May be more training and service with the front of house staff will make the dining experiance much less annoying and feel like we do not mind paying for good food and great customer service

My wife and I visited Cosalea for lunch yesterday after a session at the Stables Leisure Club next door (yes, I know......temptation!).
My wife had the home made cheese and onion pie and I opted for the Cosalea stack - basically a double burger with bacon and cheese.
Service was friendly and very efficient, very impressed with the gent who came and politely explained that the paprika fries to accompany my burger were not available, would chunky chips be OK?
Food arrived piping hot and beautifully presented, the size of the wedge of pie had to be seen to be believed. Likewise the burger. Needless to say we couldn't eat all of the chunky chips but we really enjoyed our lunch.
We will definitely return, great value for money and the place is lovely and clean - thanks to the chef and a great team for a first class experience. Highly recommended.
