Had a great lunch with my mum here today. It was incredibly busy but the staff were extremely friendly and got us seated as soon as a table was free.
We arrived at 1.30pm at the height of the dinner rush.Drinks were served really quickly but the food took some time. We weren't in a rush and when asked, staff checked to see how long we had to wait. It seems that if you are in a rush, you can let them know and they would do their best to serve quicker. We didn't really mind the wait - it was definitely worth it. The toasties were great. I had Avocado and Corguette (available as vegan and gluten free too although I had the standard veggie). My mum had Ham, Brie and Cranberry sauce. They were served with salad with balsamic dressing and vegetable crisps. The bread was really fresh as where the other ingredients. Delicious!
The coffee was great too. Afterwards we had Double Chocolate Brownie and Jammydodger Blondie and they were fantastic.Not a bad price for a cafe bar. 2 meals, 2 hot drinks and 2 cakes came to about £26.
Ill definitely be going back.

Nice place to chill out. I ordered a jacket potato with Marie Rose prawns. Served with salad and kettle crisps. Well presented meal.

Visited in our lunch hour, took 50 minutes for the food to arrive. Very disjointed service. My food ( Halloumi Wrap) was delicious, my friend's food wasn't too great (smoked salmon bagel). It does have a nice atmosphere and maybe this was a one off as we have been before and even though it took a while to serve us, it wasn't this length of time! An explanation would've been useful, as to why the service was so long...or a warning when we walked in if they were having problems.

really good food, lovely service - all so friendly and welcoming. great atmosphere would recommend. However, the food took quite along time to arrive and were waiting over 40 mins - 1 hours before any food arrived. Overall, good quality food, fresh and delicious!!

We’ve been visiting Cosalea for around a year now and we have never had a bad meal, we absolutely love their evening menu the small plates option is always our go to and we love the variety on offer! The staff are always lovely and welcoming especially to our toddler. The event Vault space is perfect for special occasions we have just booked to use this space for a second time. This place is really becoming a community hub with lots of charity engagement, community engagement and recently wellness offerings too. The owners definitely have a great vision for this place.

I come here regularly for breakfast and lunch. The staff are brilliant and friendly and know my drinks off by heart and my name. I walk in to huge smiles all around and instantly feel welcomed. The staff are hardworking and attentive, and despite being busy sometimes I have never felt like I am being forgotten about or put aside. Would 100% definitely recommend coming here, if it’s by yourself trying to get some work done and just have a coffee and chill or coming in with some friends and having food and drinks, it is always enjoyable.

We recently held our daughters 18th birthday party in the function room at Cosalea. It was a fantastic night! The staff were amazing and couldn’t have done more to make the night a success. The food was also amazing, and such generous portions.

The refit has left the Hamers unrecognisable. Very clean modern interior. The food was very good. Wine and service excellent. A young very well informed polite team. Only slight comment. It was a little chilly we were in early evening but would of enjoyed the fire being lit. Good luck. You deserve to do well.....

Love it, great local pub, had a bit if turmoil over the last several months with previous poor management, thats now changed, the latest team come across really well, a good selection of beers and drinks, new menu imminent. With an outside area for when the weather is better. Also has a generous car park.

Brilliant food. Welcoming staff. Great value & lovely modern interior. We took a punt on this pub as it worked out well for lunch while having a day out on the East Lancs Railway & we’re delighted that we did. Everything we ordered was clearly home made (burger, chilli & fish batter). Absolutely delicious & very good value. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the East
