On entering the building was met with a lovely warm welcome from the owner and all the staff were jovial, helpful and chatty.
The inn has had an incredible refurbishment, it's very spacious inside and also there is a beer garden which at the time of visiting coped with about 30+ people. We also tried some of the food on offer and I can tell you that the chilli n chips and the steak burger were both cooked well and tasted fantastic.
There was always enough bar staff to cater for the amount of people that were at the bar at anyone time. Overall it was a warm and wonderful experience, we will be visiting again. I'd loke to thank John and his staff for all the hardwork.

Was up there Sat 16/07/22 met up with some old Army mates great day the staff here are fantastic, been up a few times since it reopened lovely pub dog friendly if you want to bring your best friend in with you going back later in week for lunch

Fantastic day at the Hamers Arms - Jonathan and Jason the general manager along with the bar staff were exceptional - friendly, great service and couldn’t have done enough for us all! Food was great and an amazing day was had by all - definitely be back when we are in the area.

Had a brilliant night last night in the Hamers Arms, first time here, great atmosphere, great food, friendly staff great service and to top it off live music, even dog friendly, definitely will visit again, a massive thank you to landlord and his staff 👍👍

We went in today with my mother in law for some lunch. The place looks absolutely stunning with he refurb and I wish it well. The new chef is still finding her feet, but the food was delicious. The chips were a little cold and slightly overdone - which would be fine with chunky chips, but not fries.
The mother in law had the haddock and said it was one of the best she has ever had. The batter was absolutely perfect. A big thumbs up for the rhubarb crumble as well. Very nice. We will definitely be back - to check the chips. :)

We went to the Hamers Arms when it was recommended to us which was just after it’s grand reopening in May and I can definitely say it was well worth the journey, this is a proper country style looking pub restaurant with a modern clean, fresh looking feel to it on the inside which combined with a great atmosphere, super friendly staff, great ale, awesome food with generous sized portions made this an enjoyable evening for us all. I do like my pub grub and this is definitely well worth a visit so hats off to all the staff and chef and don’t change a thing, you’ve nailed it. 👍🏻🍻

Pre-booked a table for 4 for breakfast, just before Christmas. Nice cafe with a good range of items on the menu. We had poached eggs and bacon on toast and eggs benedict. Full English and smaller items such as crumpets and toasted teacake also available. We'll worth a visit for breakfast or lunch.

Having been let down 10 days before a 50th birthday celebration by a Tottington restaurant, I contacted Cosalea and they had availability and could accommodate the party. Nothing was too much trouble for them in ensuring that the stress of the previous week was taken away. The Vault to the rear of the restaurant was warm and inviting, the food and nibbles were spot on and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We were able to connect to the sound system also. Highly recommend!

We hosted a surprise party for my sister's 40th in the event space at the back and it was perfect! Such a great space for a smaller, intimate do - hidden gem

Excellent food, gorgeous venue, staff very friendly and professional. The Pinot Grigio wine was excellent. There was a singer on who was fab. Had such a good night and would definitely return.

Christmas meal with 20+ strong walking group, at the Cosalea. Food was way better than expected, nicely presented and beautifully cooked. Quality rather than quantity. Service again went way beyond expectations. Very pleasant place to dine. Will definitely spend more time there. It's easy to see on the main road towards The Bolthole, and the decor is again - pleasant - hard to call this just a cafe.
