Never been to the Hamers before. As a. Retired Widow, went in armed with the telegraph crossword. Not needed. Richard and Lisa made me so welcome. Chaps on the next table chatted to me as did other customers. A Pub like they used to be. Making a stranger feel welcomed. Not serving food today, Thursday to Sunday, so Richard brought a menu over to show me. They are seasoned Licensees, can't wait to go back for great food and great company. Many thanks.

This is an excellent establishment for families. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and the a firm hit with the children too. If we ever travel back to Manchester, we will be making sure The Hamers is a stop for us. Thanks to all the Hamers teams.

This little place is a victim of its own success. Had to wait a while to give our order, but in the end went to till to order. Once food arrived asked for cutlery but because not enough staff on that got forgotten and again had to go to till to ask for them. Same as for our drinks. Because they were busy the staff were jumping to one thing to another and not concentrating on one table at a time. Shame as its so lovely and comfortable. Just need to have more staff on at busy times.

Went for tea on a Friday evening. Staff were attentive and the food was very good! We had cheese pie, fish and chips, burger and rag pudding. All in all a good meal

This place is honestly lovely. You can't tell from the outside how inviting the inside actually is. We have a full breakfast with cappuccino and a cream tea with a latte and both places where empty. Staff members are incrediblty helpful and attentive. The only reason it's a four is because of no slushies, but I'm sure next time it will definitely be a five!! Can't wait to try the evening food :)

Visited for a baby shower with afternoon tea. We had use of the private room at the rear. The service was great and the food delicious.
Would like to return for normal lunch as it is a welcoming place with a friendly vibe, and as a bonus serves good wine!

This place is small and nice tapas/bar nice background music no rush in the staff , good food served hot and nicely presented ,kitchen shuts at 8pm opens 9am closes 11pm most nights is open 7 days a week, they do a quiz night once a month £1,50 per person this includes supper ( check out when on their w/site )

I've got taste buds so easily satisfied so cannot comment fairly. Food was delish IMO. Vibe was good and members of staff were friendly and attentive; one of them did check on us to see if food was alright and everything was fine.

We attended the Hamers for a wake for my uncle Phil. The pub was clean nd the staff friendly. The food, meat pie & cheese pie were delicious ( I wouldn't mind the recipe 😋) . I will definitely visit again when next in Summerseat 👍👌

The food was amazing, but the service was a little slow. We had to ask for drinks when we sat down and this prompted menus for ordering. It was then a while before the meals came (almost 1 hour including the kids meals even though we asked for them ASAP) and we had to ask again to order deserts and it was about 30 minutes before they came to the table.
I do want to stress that the food was delicious including the children's meals and the staff great even though the service was a little slow and we will visit in the future. It may have just been a blip and it was mother's day after all with a special menu.

The Hamers has always been a favourite of ours for food and drinks; recently under new management we have given it a go twice this week.
Thursday night quiz night; we had food before the quiz started; there were four of us. Two had cheese and onion pie, there was a meat and potato pie and a curry.
All good; didn’t just come out looking excellent it also tasted it.The pies are home made and come with proper chips!
The curry I was told too was full of flavour and warmth but not too spicy just right!Service is impeccable; you are not left waiting to order drinks they are super attentive.
We ventured there again for Sunday lunch and the experience was the same! Roast lamb all the trimmings; too much to finish; the lamb wasn’t fatty; just right; complete with Yorkshire, roast, mash, cauliflower cheese and veg!
Service again; just great.Sam is an absolute credit; he is proactive and knows what great customer service looks like; he doesn’t miss anything.
Highly recommend.

Not been in here before but following a recent change of ownership and bringing in a chef specialising in Pizza and Burgers - was on our target list.
The food was absolutely lovely and you could tell that the whole pizza was made from scratch on site. I have never had something looking and tasting so good!There was a live act on later in the evening and (it was someone we knew) that made a great night out.
