Went there for lunch, and enjoyed it so much we went back again the week after.. Its a lovely place with a great atmosphere. It has a licensed bar too, and quite an extensive menu. We really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Came here for food with family after hearing great things about the food and the pub its self. Was nice to see a pub that allows in dogs. There was a good variety of food on the menu and definitely catered for all food types. The pie was amazing and had so much filling was the best pie I’ve had in a long time. The lasagne was amazing too. The pub was clean and had a great atmosphere the staff was very helpful and friendly. Was a really nice pub will definitely be back! Thank you Sam for the great recommendation on food was definitely a great choice. Great pub !!

Came here today for the night with Noel and it was amazing. We had the salt and pepper pigs and blanket and the bbq pork ribs and they were incredible. I knew when I saw it was a night with Noel I knew it would be amazing will definitely be back. Staff were really helpful and atmosphere was great. Will be back soon.

stopped off for some lunch with a friend she had meat and potato pie and i had the chicken in pepper sauce and we really enjoyed. The staff was lovely the place as a warm feeling defo recommend.

A big group of us turned up for lunch and the food was excellent and we had service with a smile. What a lovely place, highly recommended.

Went to a quiz night, the pub holds weekly on Thursdays. Only £1.50 to enter and that includes a supper. Good quiz, well attended. The Hamers also puts on other themed nights. Through the years it has played second fiddle to The Footballers across the road but it now appears to be doing very well. I’m told by others, the food is very good value. Will go again.

Firstly th service was great can't fault the staff.
Food however needs improvement. I had eggs Benedict and the sauce was just awful it was dark yellow and thick set like custard with a bland taste. The balsamic vinegar that was all over the plate did not complement the dish at all.
