Worth the bread

... Comments

Following my recent blog post about the success of the Harris HospisCare Summer Fair, the bestof Bromley has been told a snippet more news about the winner of the summer fair mini-golf and quoits challenge.

Richard Beard surprised himself by beating all the competition, and has won him and his family a year's supply of Kingsmill bread, courtesy of the Kingsmill Southern Region Bakery, local supporters of the charity.

Not a bad prize if you like bread!
Which apparently the Beard family do.
And I've just noticed their surname is an anagram of bread. Must be fate.... (or fete. Okay I'll stop the puns now)
