The Bromley Borough is a hive of activity at the moment with lots of things coming up over the next few weeks.

Here we give you the lowdown on the key events:

Special Invitation

Town Centre Business Meeting Wednesday 12th March 10:30am at Churchill Theatre

An opportunity to hear updates on news, events, projects and developments in the town centre. With guest speaker Julie Grail we will be discussing Bromley Town Centre’s future and the impact this could have on your business.

Bromley's Corporate Social Responsibility Expo 2014 – Thursday 13th March

Churchill Theatre & Library Lights 

We have recently installed uplighters to the Library and Churchill Theatre building. These lights have been set on a programme to change throughout the year and is funded by the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund.


Footfall for Bromley for January 2014

Bromley’s footfall was up 3% compared to January 2013

Greater London’s footfall was down 1.8% compared to January 2013

UK footfall was down 0.6% compared to January 2013

Cycling Workplace Scheme

If you have five or more employees in your workplace, you are eligible for the London Borough Bromley’s Cycling Workplace Scheme providing you and your employees with cycle parking* (from basic Sheffield Stands to 20-bike cycle compounds), cycle training for staff at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and bike maintenance advice (Dr Bike). Development

 

  • Westmoreland Road this car park is now closed and occupied by the developers. Development to include a multiplex cinema, 130 bedroom hotel, food outlets and 200 residential units. Regular updates will also be posted on the websites www.thisisbromleysouthcentral.co.uk and www.bromley.gov.uk/bromleysouthcentral during the construction process
  • St Marks Church public realm project to create an open landscaped public space opposite the Westmoreland Road development. Due for completion in Spring 2014
  • Churchill Place the Council is working with Muse Developments on plans for a mixed use development in the heart of the town centre.
