Half term is almost upon us and with it comes the usual issue of how to keep the youngsters occupied and out of trouble over the week long holiday.

There are lots of great activities happening in and around the local area - here are some of the highlights...

Awesome Art: for the artistic among you, there's a great art workshop at Bromley Museum. It's simply drop-in and bound to keep the little ones busy for a while! Tuesday to Thursday 2-3:30pm.

Horniman Museum: there's fun and games galore at the Horniman Museum this half term! Renowned for its interactive exhibitions, this February's planned activities live up to those expectations - celebrating the Chinese Year of the Sheep and the Plantastic exhibition too. Monday to Friday 10:30am -5:30pm.

Build a box: Coolings Nursery are running a fab children's workshop to build your own bird box! Great hands on workshop - and you can take your creation home with you at the end! Tuesday 11am-12:30pm.

Circus School: it's time to clown around at Circus School! Run by Revolutions, this one day workshop with guarantee to leave your kids in a spin! Thursday 9:30am - 3:30pm (half days also available).

Cupcake Capers: Muchkins Bakery are running a cupckae decorating class on the Thursday of half term from 10:45am to 12pm for children aged 5-9. With 4 cupcakes to decorate and take home afterwards to enjoy! Cost £!1 per child, must be accompanied by an adult.

Own a pony for the day: get first hand experience of the fun (and the mucky!) sides to owning a pony. Mucking out, grooming but most importantly, riding your 'own' pony for the day at Mount Mascal Stables. Friday 19th February 9:45am - 3:45pm. £55 per child including lunch & refreshments.
