One of my favourite childhood traditions was getting all wrapped up and tramping down to the local Christmas tree farm to choose our own, direct from source. Whether we dug it up, cut it down, or chose one the farmer had already bagged up, it was got us in the festive spirit, smelled great and got us wonderfully cold and muddy. We've carried this tradition on into adulthood - I have many friends who prefer fake trees, but I will always tolerate dropped needles for the sake of a real tree from a sustainable source.
Where we used to go however is sadly too far away now, and we're looking for somewhere nearer to Bromley - any suggestions? Drop a quick comment into this blog to let us know.
