What a pleasant surprise for Ivan and I as we attended the JusB Open House event in Bromley Methodist Church on Wednesday evening.
We had little idea what to expect apart from being told all about the great work JusB have done over the last year supporting the young people of Bromley and the great work they continue to do.
As JusB are our chosen charity to support in Bromley during 2010, we were fascinated to know more from the perspective of the kids they help - and they did not disappoint with terrific singing performances from Daisy, Lil Shansy and Perry and equally impressive raps from Dexman, Vanny and Risky. (and my apologies to you if I've spelt your names wrong!)
One of the many activites JusB have for the young people who seek help through them is music - they have a great recording studio that the kids can use and clearly some of them are using it to great effect...I expect to see some of this lot on Pop Idol before long!
So congratulations to the 6 singstars and to the JusB team led by Chair of the trustees Simon Jones.
