How Good Is Your Marketing On The Run-Up To Christmas?

I was reminded by a fellow writer recently about an article written last year, about how businesses can make the most of their marketing potential during the festive period.

Many businesses forget or don't have the energy to focus on marketing strategies on the run-up to Christmas, in the mistaken belief often that 'it's not the right time'. We're all busy, winding up the year's business, getting ready for the following year, and think our potential clients must be too.

However, Christmas the perfect time of year to get a bit of sneaky marketing in. It might be as simple as connecting with your clients through a Christmas card, or sending them a seasonal gift - get creative with this one, and you're more likely to be remembered. Attending as many networking events as possible is a good one, and there should be plenty going on in the Richmond area over the festive season. if there aren't, why not organise your own?

Improving your communication, tapping into client's possible end of year budgets, promoting seasonal special offers - these and other suggestions are all broached by Starr Hall in her article last year on www.entrepreneur.com

It's well worth a read as the advice an ideas in it are as relevant now as they were a year ago.
