Cotmandene Community Resource Centre in St Pauls Cray, Orpington and Mottingham Community & Learning Shop were presented the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service by Colonel Robert Murfin, Deputy Liutenant last Thursday at the Civic Centre in Bromley.
The centres are helping to develop their local communities by helping local residents improve their quality of life. The staff and volunteer teams at both locations offer services to people which include job clubs, computer training interview coaching, personal development courses, support groups and much more.
We congratulate both centres on their fantastic efforts.
