I just did a Google search to find out when our Christmas lights switch on this year - and do you know what, I found NOTHING!
I'm guessing Bromley hasn't suddenly become Scroogeville and I wasn't suddenly struck with Dyslexia, but all I could find was one little entry on the Bromley Council website:

Not a single mention of the lights going on.
I may be putting the ass in assumption here, but a Christmas event with fireworks and the presence of a celebrity.... why else would they be there but to flick the Big Red Switch?
I'll be there at this free event, and if there aren't any lights, I'll be asking for my money back...
