Are you a Valentine's day lover or shunner?!

Goodness, that's come around again quickly.

That time of year when painting the town red is more than just going out for a night on the tiles, it's about red love hearts and all things romantic.

Whether you're a Valentines day lover or shunner, I simply think it's quite a good opportunity to head out for the evening, enjoy a nice meal or just tell the special person in your life that you love them.

So what could be on the cards for Bromley romantics this year?

You could always head over to the Churchill Theatre and take in Dreamboats and Petticoats, the fab musical that features some of the very best and well known hits from the Rock & Roll era.

Or the Lavender House in Sundridge Park are hosting a very special candlelit Valentines dinner from 8pm. The menu at £35 per person is mouthwateringly good ... but tables are booking up fast so you'd better get in quick!

If you don't fancy a full sit down meal but could easily partake of a few celebratory cocktails then Friends of Mine in Beckenham is our recommendation - the Aperol Spritz which is Aperol Orange Liqueur, Sparkling Prosecco and Soda is one of my favourites!

Or treat your loved one - man or woman - to a little bit of 'me' time either for Valentines day itself or whenever they fancy. Book them a luxurious spa body treatment at Klinik Beauty and Skincare, or a relaxing Dermalogica facial at Options Beauty or even a manicure or pedicure at Serenity.

There's lots to choose from and something for everyone.

So make your Valentine's day something special this year!
