A Night at Edwards Restaurant

For a truly memorable dining experience in Bromley, you simply cannot beat Edwards which is situated in Bromley town centre.

From the minute you arrive to the time you leave, the well-dressed staff ensure that you  enjoy every moment.

We were warmly welcomed and shown to a separate bar area to enjoy a drink before dinner.  With an extensive cocktail list and wine list, we were spoilt for choice.

What makes this restaurant so different is that the cuisine is unlike any other restaurant we have visited in Bromley.  The modern decor is distinctive and crisp and the service is absolutely spot on.

There is a good selection of dishes which will please most palates, from vegetarian to fish and meat.  It is immediately obvious from your first mouthful that all the ingredients are of the best and everything is freshly prepared.

For starters we had melt-in-the-mouth pork, lightly spiced crab cakes and delicately flavoured prawns.  Needless to say our plates were sparkling clean when the waiter came to collect them!!

For main we tried the Selsey crab with linguine, seared scallops and grilled king prawns, all of which was beautifully plated and cooked to perfection.  Once again our plates were sent back sparkling clean!

Because the portions are not too big, we had enough space left in our stomachs for the desserts, and boy were they worth waiting for!  The lemon tart was light and tart as it is supposed to be, the chocolate brownies are very rich, so be prepared for that, my only complaint about the sticky toffee pudding was that it wasn't big enough!!

We could not find fault with the restaurant and recommend that you at least try it once and then if you like it, tell your friends about it.
