Daubs and Dashes of Brighton and Hove create beautiful hand painted silk scarves. They are made of 100% fair trade organic silk and feature unique designs inspired by stunning landscapes.

Inspired by her travels, Georgia Crawford of Daubs and Dashes creates gorgeous organic silk scarves in her workshop in Brighton and Hove.  Each scarf is hand painted and produced in small limited edition batches to ensure the quality of every scarf.

Daubs and Dashes use only fair trade organic silk, hand mixed colours and hand decorating techniques to create beautiful scarves that can be hand washed and ironed without the luscious colours fading.

All designs come gift boxed and wrapped with FREE UK DELIVERY.  Order online and pay with Apple Pay, PayPal or credit card.

Organic Silk

All Daubs and Dashes scarves are made of 100% organic fair trade silk.  This means that the silk is made and woven using no harsh chemicals or pesticides.  It only comes in a natural off white colour and is super soft as well as kind to skin.  As it is also fair trade, the workers producing it receive fair wages and good working conditions.

Personalisation

Not only are these beautiful scarves all hand painted, they can also be personalised using Chinese wooden alphabet blocks to add any text you like.  This service only costs an additional £4.

Commissions

For weddings, Georgia can even create a bespoke scarf just for you.  She can create a scarf that matches your wedding outfit perfectly and, as she specialises in painting landscapes, can base the design on the location of your choice.

About Georgia

Georgia Crawford originally learned the art of silk printing from her Nan.  She later graduated from The University of the Creative Arts in Kent after studying Illustration.  She put the two together to develop her textile printing skills to create beautiful handmade accessories.  The name 'Daubs and Dashes' is based on the painting process employed to make every scarf different from every other.  Her first collection was inspired by the magnificent views she witnessed whilst travelling around Iceland with her husband.
