As far as I can tell there are no other opportunities for business networking in the area west of Dorchester. This is a good group with a nice friendly atmosphere. Speakers are of variable quality but there is no hard sell and it is always worth the evening out. We always learn something useful.
There are two things worth knowing about Sarah; that she absolutely loves cooking - and that she likes to provide a full service with no ʼextrasʼ added to your bill. If you want good wholesome food and good value for money Moore is where to go.
Ross and his colleagues clearly really love books and they will get absolutely any book you want if you ask them. They have a great website with news about local authors and literary stuff going on around us and the best stock of books about Dorset and the local area anywhere.
This is a great place if you need proper country tools and materials; gates, fencing all the nails, wire and all the stuff it takes to do things around the garden and paddock. No silly prices for timber and posts and suchlike either and you can drive into the yard and load up..
This place is a bit of a treasure-trove for people who just want a bit of timber. They keep a good stock of useful offcuts of all kinds - the trouble is - I usually find something more than what I came in for!
These chairs are amazing. There is nothing like them made in the UK and yet they are all over southern Europe - because they seem to last forever. We've been going back to a restaurant in Portugal and sitting on the same chairs and tables for eight years so far - and they look as new as the day they were installed. I can't understand why you don't see more of it here.
Kevin is a genius with Land Rovers especially old ones. My 30 year old model - its tatty but sound - now flies along having had The Shrubbery treatment. Donʼt expect a customerʼs coffee lounge - but you will get your vehicle fixed and looked after - at a price thats fair and reasonable. You might even get a smile!
