Well today started no different than probably most days in my life, but there is one little concern in the back of my mind looming. I am taking part in the London to Southend charity bike ride this Sunday (19th July) that’s a whole 59 miles in total of which I am feeling quite under prepared and now to add to my woes, I have woke up with a cold (Is it swine flu?) half of me is joking when I put that but half of me thinks “god is it?” But I’m sure I will be ok. So I am desperately hoping that over the next few days my body gets itself together so I can complete the ride.
I have been overwhelmed with the response from members of my family, friends and business members on thebestof Brentwood as to the support they have given me. It’s for a good cause, the British Heart Foundation, and although I have hit my target of raising over £250 (Currently as I am writing this it’s at £315) it would still be good if anybody else would be able to add to that total.
