The Green Man, Under New Management!
Many residents of Brentwood will know The Green Man as their local pub, well now Paul and Jackie, the new owners, are here to give you the best service and experience! I spoke to the new owners today to introduce myself and they are lovely people and can't wait to make a go in the new town. The name has been changed to The Green Man Herongate and you are being invited to join them for their first Christmas in their great new home! Yes that’s right they will be open on Christmas day, as if Christmas wasn't already a good enough reason to drink and eat far too much! They will be open from midday to 3pm and have a great Christmas menu running between 1st December and 24th December which will include all your favourite Christmas food like Christmas pudding! (Most people look at the starters first but.. I'm only human, yum!) There will also be roast turkey or pork with all the trimmings (my mouth is watering already!) Then, if you can still do your trousers up, there will be a New Years Eve party with a BBQ! Wait you haven’t heard the best bit yet, NO TICKET REQUIRED! How many years I've been disappointed because I'm so engrossed in all my presents from Christmas I forget to get a ticket for New Years, but not this year. Although I would suggest getting there early as they can't fit the whole world in and it would be a pretty funny sight if they tried!
