Nearly a year on from the introduction of traffic wardens and the new parking layout in the town centre, I wonder if we're happy with the system? It used to frustrate me before the changes came into force when I wanted to pop into town; often I would drive round the market place several times sometimes, in the hope of finding a space. Then I'd give up and go elsewhere.
Then the new system came into force and ...relief! I know many people were happy to feel they could find parking - usually - easily. However, there many comments from businesses who suddenly found they were suffering, or some of their customers felt pushed for time.
Now there are several rather large large spaces allocated for disabled use
