A thoughtful moment at Brackley's Remembrance Service

We've attended several Remembrance Services in town over the last 9 years and this year's was perhaps the most poignant and well supported after the recent news of a Brackley soldier's death.

It was a beautiful afternoon but a solemn occasion. Many representatives from the area including the United States Air Force from RAF Croughton, Scout and Guide movements and Army Cadets formed a procession down the High Street, finally assembling outside the memorial by the Town Hall.

A large crowd attended the service and I hope Corporal Webster-Smith's family felt everyone's thoughts were with them.
