Care UK’s Magna Care Centre, on Arrowsmith Road, will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September from 10am-12pm.
Members of the community can enjoy a relaxed morning while fundraising, with activities to get involved in such as a raffle and traditional games and watching a bake off between relatives and team members.
There will also be a selection of homemade treats including Macmillan-inspired green cupcakes. Residents and team members will be wearing green throughout the day to show their support for the cancer charity.

“Events like this are a lovely way to bring people together, create new connections and strengthen links within the local community. We're also excited to welcome guests to our café, which is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, a slice of cake and great company.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone for a morning of fundraising and fun.”
Magna Care Centre provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. The home has been designed to enable residents to lead active and fulfilling lives.
