Stayed here to travel to Manchester. Room was lovely and staff were friendly.
Only reason to score down was that we chose here to enjoy the facilities but none were in use. I.e. No swimming pool or spa. Very misled when booking.
Great location, close to many shops and train station, plus train was only £7.50 each return to Manchester and that included the tram in Manchester and local buses.

Attended 'The Lion of Vienna' suite to donate blood. Free parking in the car park. Toilets were clean and well appointed.
Easy to find and conveniently located just off the M61 motorway. A much nicer venue than usual at a chilly church hall, would go back there again.

Stayed here for work. Clean & tidy rooms with everything you need, just a little dated now. No noise, comfy beds & had a great nights sleep. Yummy breakfast. Ate in the restaurant at night & food was delicious - service was a little haphazard as some nights we got table service & others we ordered at the bar! All staff were amazing, friendly & kind

Visited 09/06/2022 in the Premier Suite for work event. Free parking and easy venue to drive to.
Not well signposted from reception area, had to ask lady on reception where the suite was located.
The event space was fantastic, well organised and the Bolton stadium team were very friendly as were the staff looking after our tables.
The let down was the food choices, no halal option was provided after being requested prior to event, what did arrive although presentation looked good, the taste unfortunately didn’t match and for that reason alone the review lost ability to reach 5 stars. At one point my colleague who asked for pescatarian & vegetarian options was given a fish dish with a chorizo base, concern raised but damage had been done. The saving grace was the dessert which tasted nice.

Ben and Kelly on reception very welcoming and a credit to the hotel. Suite amazing, very clean and tidy. Unusual design. Comfortable and relaxing. Tea and coffee tray most welcome. Breakfast and staff excellent. A superb experience all round .

Just arrived check in was simple got a great clean room by Brian on second floor nice size as well. My room comes with a sealy double bed quite comfy other rooms have two singles. Room has a large wardrobe with two draws, Room also comes with a 32”Samsung led tv. A hair dryer in draw a trouser press if needed. There is also a suitcase stand if required. You get Tea and coffee in a draw with some biscuits if you need more just ask reception they will give you as mush as you need. Kettle is spotless no lime scale inside. Bathroom it a reasonable size with sink and large mirror, bath has a screen at side for shower you also get shampoo and conditioner and small soap to use.
Dinner was at 7pm for us but as we was just using for one day they only had fish and chips and mushy peas, I don’t eat fish they they cooked me a breast of chicken with chips and mushy peas which was very good of them all the food was very good. Pudding was not much choice had a chocolate brownie which was a big size and added cream could only manage just over half it was very good can’t complain. Had to go back to room for another tea as not available down stairs in dining room.
Bed time was very please once got to sleep only problem was a false fire alarm at around 10.30pm disturb sleep only lasted a minute once back to sleep was very comfy sealy mattress comfort, room was great plenty of room to move and relax wish next hotel visiting was like this one but it’s not.

The room was clean, shower good and the bed comfy. Wouldn't recommend going on a match day though as there are long queues for the bar. The buffet breakfast was OK but they ran out of certain items and didn't intend on making any more.
