Great pool area, unique village type set up outside of the main hotel, glorious setting to the rear with fields and country lanes/walks

Loved the pool and thermal suite. I've stayed at 4 hotels in the area and this was the best. Restaurant steal was amazing. Most meals seemed to come with coleslaw rather than any meaningful fibre and nutrition. I ate at the bar the pub the restaurant and found the same in each. Pool opens at 6:30 which isn't quite early enough for my taste. Especially when they were 5 minutes late opening the door and I had to ask at reception.

Room was cold and only a single radiator so not perfect.
Leisure here is worth the price on its own, Great steam rooms, sauna, pool and infinity pool.
Breakfast very poor. Had to wait 30 minutes for something obviously kept warm in the oven in the kitchen - may as well be a buffet, at least i could have seen it was poor and overcooked and just had cereal and toast and got on my way

Stayed here for one night with my 1 year old.although they forgot to put a cot in, when I asked they were extremely quick to follow up on this and being a cot a d get it set up.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Clean and spacious rooms. Mainly comfy although no air con in the room and it was roasting so had a rough night.
The surrounding area is great, the food I. The restaurant is brilliant.

All in all a very comfortable stay and would definitely look at staying here again if visiting Manchester.

Very comfortable room and helpful staff. Plenty of parking but the maze of buildings made it a bit awkward to get to. The only issue was that the printed invoice I was given turned out to be for a different customer which I only realized once I had started to fill out my expenses.
Apart from that all was very good.

Room was lovely and spacious and had a very nice bathroom. Some parts of the hotel are a little tired but otherwise a comfortable play to stay with good facilities. We didn’t use the Spa so can’t comment on that. We ate dinner and were disappointed. Our two steaks were over cooked and the lobster on the surf and turf was bone dry and completely over cooked. At £77.00 for the surf & turf it was overpriced too. We found the breakfast average especially at £18.50 each.
It is a very nice hotel and a reasonable price. We would stay again but definitely wouldn’t order steaks or surf & turf.
