We booked a last-minute stay to take our poorly dog to the Animal Trust for emergency surgery and were very impressed with this hotel - it was in a perfect location for the places we needed to be. The whole place was well presented, and our room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us - meaning we could bring our other dog with us!
Every member of staff we met was very friendly and genuinely wanted to help. A special shoutout to Irene, who went above and beyond to help us, made us feel very relaxed (on an otherwise very stressful trip) and was very attentive.
If we come across another hotel from this chain in the future, we’d definitely choose to stay again. Highly recommended!

Had a voucher bought for afternoon tea.
The food was really nice and Irene was lovely. She couldn't do enough to make the experience enjoyable. Would certainly go again.

What an incredible experience my son is autistic and we usually struggle with sit down settings he absolutely loved it great food amazing service from ilene who made our experience that more magical.

I meant to meet a friend at the nearby Middlebrook Shopping Centre but couldn't park due volume of Xmas shoppers. I had driven past the Georgian House so I messaged by friend to meet at the hotel. We were warmly greeted by Irene who was on bar duties. We only required a hot drink but the friendly and efficient service from Irene was way beyond our degree of expectancy. The lounge area was clean and comfortable, it was a most pleasant experience. I will call in again when I'm next in the area.

I've been here before - a few years ago - and it was good. This time however I'd only say it was average.
It seems the standards have dropped a bit - the maintenance standards were not great in the parts we saw - our room and some general areas. It was quiet as well - so you would expect they would be using the best rooms.
To be fair - we didn't use the gym, restaurant, breakfast - and so maybe we would have had a better impression had we done so.
The staff we're perfectly fine - for the few brief interactions we had.
They really do need a clear sign (ideally lit up) at the actual exit from the main road - otherwise in the dark, its really not clear where you need to turn off. We went backwards a forwards a bit trying to find it.

lovely hotel — incredible value for money! Irene, the evening hostess, was outstanding. So polite, so friendly, and truly a credit to the hotel. She made the whole experience even better. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Excellent location. Staff were friendly and professional. Irene was exceptional especially with my elderly parents. Nothing was too much trouble for Irene.

My cousin and I frequently go out for a coffee and cake . None of our usual cafes were open. We decided to call into the hotel. I'm so glad we did . What a gem it is. The lounge area is gorgeous, spacious and welcoming. Irene or Eileen, The lady who greeted and served us was fabulous. Couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. They also serve my favourite coffee lavazza. We wish they had cake on the cafe menu. Such a shame because you can't beat cake and coffee. The lovely lady even went to see if she could find any mince pies for us. What a star❤️. Definitely going again with more friends and family. Please could you consider a cake or biscuit menu 🙏☕️🫖🍰🍩🍪❤️

We have just been there for a Cream Tea experience and what a really lovely experience it was. The food and drinks were lovely and it was a nice comfy warm place. However what made it truly Awesome was our lovely "server" Irene. She'd clearly taken time to get everything set up so we were in a nice comfy spot. After that, nothing was too much trouble. So many times she surprised us with her lovely care and attention, offering and arranging so many things for us. She really did go above snd beyond to make the whole experience special. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with her. Thank you Irene!

The best service by the loveliest of lady manning the Bar Area, Irene is a credit to this hotel and always goes out of her way to look after me whilst working in the area, Those pots of tea are superb and always appreciated.
