Stayed here just for one evening as we were attending a wedding nearby. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was the closest to the main bar/restaurant and I expected we would be disturbed by noise throughout the night, however this wasn't the case - we had a very good night sleep. Reception was very helpful sorting us out a taxi. Will keep in mind for future visits to the area.

As usual nice welcome at reception and atmosphere relaxed and friendly rooms perfect will definately keep coming back. Options of breakfast offered and plenty of tea/coffee/milk supplies. Very handy for local shopping and to get to town or Manchester on the motorway

Nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Stay spoilt by two of us being served raw/very undercooked burger as a bar snack. Otherwise, good hotel with friendly service and good facilities. Worth considering.

We stay at the Whites Hotel a lot when we come to see Bolton Wanderers at Home Games. Rooms are small and functional and lounge and brasserie areas dark due to being under the stand. They have closed the reflections restaurant that used to over look the pitch which was a star feature we used a lot. Now tend to eat out. Breakfast pretty average. If you are not a football fan check out match days on Saturday or Tuesdays. Otherwise it will be rammed. I remember one sason they had a wedding on the day Bolton played ManU at 12.45 just as the wedding cars left. Not great.

Food good, staff friendly and helpful, room very clean and tidy, comfy bed, plenty of room to work and well lit, no road noise and one of the best hotels I stay in when on business at this price range. Oh, and free WiFi as well!

Overall excellent experience every need catered for at what I must say is a reasonable price the reception staff where 1st class breakfast staff where friendly and helpful my only problem and unfortunately was a big problem was we had a room with a match view which meant fold away bed and our bed was very loud and squeaky which made it an uncomfortable sleep but we have stayed before and the beds are definitely not like that so it would not put me off booking again I would just make sure it's not a room with a fold away bed .
