We enjoyed our time at the whites hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous and the service was the best we have ever experienced. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and plentiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Arrived to the hotel and was very surprised to have the room overlooking the football pitch, which i enjoyed very much.

Hotel food was great, friendly staff behind the bar, reception and also in the gym.

great facilities and great location with the retail park close by which was a saviour as I had under-packed for my stay.

I'll definitely be back

Not for the first time we stayed at the whites hotel, but it was the first time staying and not being part of the severe group. For what we paid on the whites web site found it to be extremely good value, also had breakfast which also was reasonable value. Drinks in the bar were not cheap though. All in all it was a pleasant stay.for the football fan visiting the macron stadium it is the ideal location to make a weekend of it with other bars and restaurants locally situated!

Hotel is integrated to Macron Stadium. It is approximately ten minute walk to Middlebrook Shopping Centre. This hotel is near a motorway.

I booked this hotel for four nights (10-14July2015). I was given room 609. This room is spacious with two twin beds. View from my room is car park and main road. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in my room. Everyday I opened the window to keep room cool. It was noisy outside due to my room facing a main road. When the window is shut you hardly hear outside noise.

Breakfast was plentiful. Choices are: Bacon, sausage, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomato, potatoes, beans, cereals, porridge, pastries, croissants, toasts, assorted jams, fresh fruits, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, fruit juices, selection of teas, coffee machine which makes latte, cappuccino, etc.). Twice I ordered breakfast in my room. A card is provided in the room which needs to be filled out and hung on the door by 2:00am.

My two friends and I dined at Brasserie Restaurant on July 11 around 8:30pm. It was not crowded at all for a Saturday night which was nice for us. Actually there was only one table with a party of four adults and a child.

My starter was Seared Scallops, Heathcote black pudding, smoked pancetta, pea puree, micro water cress. (£2.50 extra)

Roast Rump of Lamb which I ordered medium rare was cooked like I wanted. It came with hotpot potatoes, pickled red cabbage, green beans, red wine jus. It was tasty and tender.

My friends ordered Roast Breast of Chicken Breast wrapped in pancetta, parisienne potatoes, wild mushroom fricassee & wild garlic which they raved about.

For dessert, we shared Textures of Strawberry which was served in a grey slate. It had cheesecake wrapped in strawberry gel, meringue, strawberry marshmallows, strawberry caviars, slices of fresh strawberries, crumbled digestive biscuits. We liked this delightful dessert.

Lee was our server. He is professional, friendly and helpful. Thanks to Lee who arranged an electric fan to be sent to my room after I mentioned to him I was unhappy that my room did not have air conditioning.

Free wi-fi in the room is fast. I was surprised this hotel has steam room which I gladly used.

When I checked out of the hotel I was charged £20.00/day for breakfast versus £10.00/day for four days which was the price quoted to me by Liam when I checked in. Breakfast would have cost £12.00/day if I did not choose breakfast for four days. Laura assisted me when I checked out and adjusted my total bill.

When I am in Bolton again I would like to stay at this hotel and request a room with stadium view. Thank you Liam, Laura, Andrew and Lee for your assistance.

Stayed here a few times now. Hotel facilities are nice with friendly staff. I have to say though, my partner and I agreed that the rooms maybe need a bit of a re vamp. Slightly old fashioned showing signs of wear and tear in places. Overall an ok hotel with room for improvement in the rooms

Our family stayed at this hotel as my husband did the Ironman. I cannot fault the hotel, the service and the location. The staff were so friendly and professional. We were looked after superbly. I asked at reception if it was possible for my sons to see the stadium and the gentleman behind reception was so accommodating that he took us to one of the suites that had a pitch side room. My sons were so ecstatic as both being football fans! I did not catch his name but this was Saturday 18th July in the morning. A very polite and professional member of your staff. Please let him know. I would like to also mention how Adam made my family feel very welcome. He always asked how we were and chatted to my sons. He also was very helpful on our first night going through gluten free options on the menu for me. The whole staff at breakfast were fantastic. In fact every member of your staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome which was fantastic due to the ironman event taking place around the hotel. I will recommend your hotel to anyone staying in the Bolton area and if we are back in the area, I will be returning. Please pass on our thanks to your staff for looking after us. Nicky Snowball July 2015.
