First visit for my friend and I. Food was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the pianist, while we ate. Staff great, nothing too much trouble. Very impressed with decor and orangery. Good for wheelchair access & facilities. Hope to be back soon.

Went for a late lunch last Tuesday after saying for ages that we need to check it out. The restaurant is large very clean and well layed out (tables were not bunch too close together). Ordering was easy and the food arrived promptly. The food was hot, the batter light and crispy, although the chips were a little small they were okay, the mushy peas were great but the portion size needs to be a little larger. All in all had a good meal in a nice restaurant.

Food is always great well proportioned great prices. Now they do ice creams of all flavours. The staff is friendly. The place is nice and a guy was playing the piano too. Would go again.

Went to Olympus today for lunch with the other half as she'd told me how good it was. Can't say she was wrong. Good size portions, fish very nice, chips excellent and the curry sauce was exceptional.
Atmosphere was nice and relaxed, seats and table were clean and comfortable. Service staff friendly and not overbearing. We agreed we'd definitely put this place on our lunch time date rotation!
Only bit that clawed was £1.80 for a soft drink can. That is very much on the high side but not a big issue.

We have never been before & come from area , Staff lovely , Fish & chips lovely (pensioners special) prob not enough for a man , only thing we wasnt keen on was Piano player/singer if it was turned down some would have been enjoyable but we sat at front of resteraunt & he was at back & we couldnt hear ourselves talk a big NO for us , shame as i have since heard they went & it was just piano in background

Service as it should be , all the staff are courteous and helpful , the food is lovely and at great prices . Would recommend everyone go there at least once and not only enjoy the food but the service which is second to none.

I've been going for years and the food is great. Tanya and the lady with the grey bob particularly do a great job and a friendly with all the customers. The restaurant is a nice treat for me too.

Called into Olympus today for lunch, had never been before as I had expected it to be just a chippy. What can I say! It far exceeded my expectations. The decor is lovely and the place is spotless. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious! Will definitely be going back some time soon

The Olympus is not your typical Fish & Chip Restaurant. The owner is charming, the food is excellent, the service & attention to detail is first class, the restaurant was spotlessly clean, as was the stylishly designed rest rooms. What really blew me away, was the ambience created by the wonderfully talented pianist/vocalist/guitarist Chez Haynes (stage name is Leon Charles), playing a beautifully sounding grand piano, topped off by a wonderful lilting tone. He is a singer songwriter with years of experience from playing venues all around the world. I believe the Olympus also stage events such as plays, Jazz/musical evenings etc. I will most definitely be revisiting soon.
