A delightful and unusual place. A mix of hotel rooms and cottages in a strangely located housing estate (it seemed). Lovely grounds, and overall a four star hotel type experience. Great spa with multiple steam/sauna rooms. And a quaint little shopping area - can imagine it would be particularly nice on a sunny day!

Only ate here for breakfast - which was OK. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it either.

Staff were very helpful and attentive.

I was staying for four nights on business, and overall there wasn't anything I would complain about at all with the hotel - but the guests - I kinda felt spoilt the place.
One night there was someone banging so loud to be let in the room at 2.30am. It went on for ages - whoever was in the room didn't want to let them in! And then arguing once they were both in the room. I would have understood on a Saturday night maybe, but it was a Monday!
Another morning vomit in the grass where some drunk had thrown up.
My car was parked next to a van, where the person has spat loads out of the van window/door it seemed - gross!
In general the atmostphere felt a bit intimidating at times. I wouldn't have liked it if my kids had been with me. I would have complained as being woke in the night by guests hammering and shouting was not nice at all.

This is a large hotel. Unsurprisingly, on the Saturday I stayed there was a wedding, which made everything busy and quite noisy. I was put in a room that was uncomfortably hot, possibly because it was over the laundry room. I told the hotel that despite my staying two nights my room was not made up during this time. The restaurant is well run and serves good food.

Everything was perfect as when I took my friend a couple years ago .so wanted to take my partner there for our 1 year anniversary. Only thing is staying in room 37 the white door infrount of our door. Banged every second and I got woken up at 7am as for a little breakaway I was not happy that I was awake at that time of the morning. The breakfast has also changed since last time I was there it use to be a all u can eat buffet now . The waiter comes over to you and asked what u would like u get 1 of everything dont really think it sets u up for the rest of the day but did taste amazing but definitely not worth the price.

We stayed 4 nights. The one day we needed room service, they were a no show. There needs to be a grab bar outside the tub. I fell on the floor and sought medical attention. The location was close to family. The international room rate was very good.

What an absolutely incredible stay at The Last Drop — and one employee in particular made it unforgettable: Sirus.

For 3 out of the 3 days of our stay, Sirus was everywhere, doing everything, and doing it all with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism — even during the hottest weekend on record.

At the Drop Inn Bar, he was serving boiling hot food flawlessly while somehow managing the endless needs of guests with calmness and a smile all afternoon.

At the Bakehouse, he wasn’t just making and serving food — he created such a welcoming atmosphere. He took the time to chat warmly with my Mum while she enjoyed a much-needed afternoon tea and scone and some peaceful alone time. That kindness meant more than he probably realises.

Then at breakfast, there he was again — greeting everyone with smiles, morning chats, and energy that never seemed to fade whilst working like a trooper.

Sirus doesn’t just deliver hospitality — he delivers humanity. In a world where genuine customer care can be rare, he stands out as an absolute gem. Friendly, attentive, hardworking, and endlessly thoughtful.

A true credit to The Last Drop, and honestly one of the best examples of customer service we’ve experienced anywhere.

Thank you, Sirus — you made our stay special.
