We had our wedding at the Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa in The Penny Farthing Suite in April 2025. From start to finish, the entire experience was truly wonderful and made our day so special.
The Last Drop Village is a perfect venue as the building itself is full of character with original features alongside having the stunning countryside with wonderful views. The Penny Farthing Suite was dressed lovely on the day.
We also attended a wedding fair at The Last Drop, where we won access to the Harwood suite to use when getting ready the morning of the wedding. This was an amazing addition to the morning where we had a grazing board and fizzy to make a perfect start to the day.
The team went above and beyond, with Jacqueline helping with the planning process and the team on the day making sure everything ran smoothly, they all went above and beyond. The staff were all very professional and made us and our guests feel so welcome. We also used the ICE DJ which was part of the package who kept the dance floor full all night.
The food was incredible along with the service. All the food was presented with attention to detail. Many of our guests commented on how lovely the food was for such a mass event.
If you’re considering The Last Drop Village for your wedding, we couldn’t recommend it enough.
Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day so special, we have memories to last a lift time.

We have been to the Last Drop on a regular basis and previously never needed to complain. Sadly we were disappointed with our stay this time, nothing wrong with room, facilities or staff. We were informed that our evening meal was in the Drop Inn, first time ever but never again. We both ordered Cheese and onion pie, it was awfull could not even taste any cheese, more like mashed potatoe pie. It was disgusting While we were part way through our meal a crowd of about 20 men & women sat on several tables alongside us. Soon the noise was unbearable. We left without finishing our meal or having our second course. I left 'feedback' on their web page and also e-mailed the hotel but have not had anything resembling an apology. The price we pay I would expect better

We chose the Last Drop for our wedding and we’re glad we did. Jacqueline was on hand to help with preparations prior to our big day. Franco, who was Master of Ceremonies and all of the staff, from receptionists, waiters, waitresses and staff behind the bar were fantastic on the day. Our wedding day was perfect. The food was great, the service perfect and the grounds offer lots of opportunities for photos. Our suite was spacious and comfortable and breakfast the following morning was tasty.

The room was great - really spacious, a nice shower and a separate bath (fine for one - but was a squeeze for 2....but you can't really complain about that). The restaurant however was very tired with cracked coverings on the chair. I ordered pork belly which is fatty, but should have two layers of meat each about 4-5mm thick. This was one layer about 2mm thick - and then all fat. It was awful (the sauce and the rest of the dish were nice).

Stayed for one night on 6th June for a “Fizz Friday” spa break deal. We had a family room with three beds which was ample for us. We got a bottle of Prosecco on arrival, use of the spa, evening meal up to the value of £30 each and breakfast.
The spa could do with a refurb (as could the rooms to be honest) but the food we had at dinner and breakfast was pretty good.
We had a great time at the Drop Inn pub. There was a really good singer on and we enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately the bar said they didn’t have any tonic which seemed a bit strange - I’m sure they could have got hold of some from the bar in the hotel but they didn’t seem bothered.
The other thing which let things down was the amount of time we waited for our tea and coffee at breakfast. We had to ask twice and it took over half an our to arrive.
Apart from those two niggles, for the price we paid, we had a great time.

Honestly can't understand the negative reviews I read. Stayed for 12 nights solid start of June, food was amazing, pork roast and pea and ham hock soup being my favourite.

Staff brilliant, no issues at all. Rooms cleaned although I don't need it daily so put up dnd on door few times.

Loved to chill in the infinity pool/spa after a long day in the training classroom.

Really enjoyed my stay and wasn't too bored with being away from home for 2 weeks.

Have 20 more nights to stay in next couple of months and looking forward to it.

Cheers

The bed is the comfiest I have stayed in in a while and the staff was very attentive. The price of meals and drinks were reasonably priced and really tasty the fish pie was the best fish pie I have had in a while. We had a package deal so everything was included and I couldn’t complain about anything we did only stay the one night.

I recently stayed for two nights as part of a spa break booked through a third-party website, and overall, I had a really lovely and relaxing experience.

There was a small mix-up at check-in, as the receptionist initially thought I had booked for just one night instead of two. However, the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, and the issue was quickly resolved.

I stayed in an Executive Double Room. While the room was a little dated in terms of décor, it was very clean and comfortable.

As a solo traveller, I really appreciated how safe and welcome I felt throughout my stay. Walking around the village area and between my room and the facilities felt very secure, even in the evening. The staff across the spa, pub, and shops were all incredibly warm and accommodating, which made a big difference to my stay.

This is a lovely spot if you’re in need of a peaceful break, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Carpet pulled away and slippery, Restaurant seating old torn and uncomfortable to sit in. We had one refill on the single use toiletries supplied for 7 night stay. Bed Sheets replaced once and towels replaced twice for the stay. Batteries not replaced in the safe often, People passing by the room (73) all hours of the night talking.
