Went here for a team lunch. We were provided with a lovely big table in an area with lots of natural light and they did a good job to make sure we were served quickly. Food - rag pudding - was delicious and the mini three course set lunch was excellent value.

Lovely, old fashioned fish and chips restaurant. Large, varied menu with great food. There's also a piano player too!

Had cod special and haddock special which both included chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea for two which provided a good 2 cups each. Cost jait under £30. We've got big appetites and there was more than enough for us. Don't know what tea bags they use but it was the best cuppa I've had in ages.
Service was polite and effeccient and it was a nice ,clean and comfortable environment.
Everything was spot on. Can't believe I've only just been for the first time today.
If you like unpretentious, well cooked food with polite service I'd recommend. Shout out to the young waiter who served us whose manners were impeccable.
