Canoeing is an outdoor activity that involves a special kind of canoe. In modern canoe sport, canoes and kayaks are classified together, although these watercraft have different designs, and historical uses.Both canoes and kayaks may be closed-decked.
Bolton Canoe Club is a friendly Club run by canoeists for canoeists. They vary enormously in skill, experiences and qualifications.
They meet every Monday throughout the year and organise regular trips for all interests and standards. It is a case of the more the merrier!
They have an excellent supply of equipment both at the Leisure Centre and at the reservoir.
They have wetsuits, buoyancy aids, cags, boats and paddles; everything you need!
