The forum was set up in the year 2000 to establish and maintain a cohesive link between all the 22 Hindu Community organisations in Bolton. At that time in accordance with the 2001 Census; Bolton had 5000 Hindu Population which has nearly trebled in the past ten years. The Forum is an Umbrella Body which effectively engages with the view to identify, develop and promote common interest in all aspect of Social, Religious, Health, Economic and Political sphere. It strives to identify and address the issues and needs to responsibly represent and serve in the best way possible the interest of the Community at large and integrate the wider community.Their vision is to see a strong organisation acting as the lighthouse within the Hindu community and also look forward to the betterment and increased harmony of all Hindus living in Bolton. They would like to see a Hindu culture which is both preserved and flourishing, promoting the quality of life of Hindus through practice and preservation.
