An exciting new parent and toddler group has launched in Great Lever. It's only a 10 minute walk from Bolton Town Centre, and the 570, 571 and 572 all stop nearby.
The group is every Thursday, including school holidays, between 1pm-2:30pm. It costs £2 for one adult with a child, and 50p for each additional child. This pays for tea/coffee and biscuits, as well as juice and healthy snacks for the children.
During term time they have activities for children 0-5, including crafts and messy play. They often have local classes doing taster sessions, such as Sing and Sign, for no extra cost. During the school holidays older children are welcome too, and they will have activities, games and crafts in a separate room that would be suitable for primary-school aged children.
There's also a Facebook group where parents can chat online, share photos from the group and get involved with ideas for craft sessions
