We've been coming to the Olympus for many years as it's consistently great. The fish is beautiful and the atmosphere smart and relaxed - upmarket without being pretentious.
The staff are lovely and always make an effort with you. The menu is varied for a chip shop - I'd recommend the home-made moussaka if you're not in the mood for fish. Frederick's ice cream is also available if you have any room left!
One of the nicest additions is that you can listen to a pianist on a grand piano as you eat at certain times... it really is a joy to come here every single time!

Called in here on a very cold Decembers day and a lovely surprise to find the restaurant warm and friendly, My girlfriend said it was the best fish and chips she had ever had and we both loved the ambience with the piano being gently played in the background .
The bill was very reasonable considering the surroundings and the waiter insisted on helping my good lady on with her coat. Old fashioned service which is sadly missing these days

Attended a jazz concert at the Olympus. Excellent music, good pastie, comfortable venue, didn't have fish and chips.

Had a fabulous Christmas meal here last night. Food fabulous, and amazing service. I asked for something not on the festive menu, and it was not a problem. Would highly recommend eating here if you visit Bolton. We were a team of 18 everything fresh and hot.
