I have stopped at the Whites Hotel on a number of occasions and have always been impressed with the staff in whatever Department I have had dealings with but on this occasion there was a lady who went above and beyond and was an excellent ambassador for the Whites Hotel.
Her name was Amina and she is a first rate communicator and who judges her level of interaction with guests perfectly as not all guests are “Morning” people and it would be remiss of me not to mention her friendly and welcoming persona when I arrived for Breakfast.

An excellent stay in beautiful, well stocked room.
Room was large, clean and well stocked. We were on a room only basis but the food in the hotel was better than some much more expensive meals we've had. Would definitely recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings! Delicious!!!
Nothing really. This hotel was chosen because it was situated in the area we wished to visit. An earlier attempt to book in 2020 was cancelled due to Covid so we were determined to tray again. Very satisfactory. If any 'gripe' it would be the lack of a phone signal either in or close to the hotel.

Ben on reception was pretty incredible, knew my name and room number when I checked out this morning and while I waited for a colleague to pick me up 2 other guests checked out and he did exactly the same to them! Guy in the restaurant/bar was very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering some food (pretty large guy, sorry don’t know his name)

Stopped in a pitch view room and would highly recommend, room had amazing views of the ground, Spacious and very clean! Only criticism is the rooms could do with updating, fitted furniture and bathroom suite look a little dated and tired!
Bar was brilliant, plenty to chose from and 4/5 large TVs with sky sports.

A nice hotel but no chargers available on a short term basis and I'd have to say one has to chase service, especially during off hours. Clean and pleasant though! Would definitely come back although it's a bit worn. Could definitely use a face lift...i.e. duck taped carpets, holes in the wall etc.

I visited on a business stay, the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had a problem with hot water in my room on my last night and the staff went above and beyond to help and resolve the situation and really quickly too. Nothing was too much trouble.
All staff were so lovely and more than happy to take the time to have a chat. I will definitely be back and will be recommending to family and friends who wish to visit the area.

Average hotel that needs a little TLC.
Okay for a couple of days.
Room was fine, although rather dated and needed a little TLC. Towel rail was rusty for example. Rather busy in the breakfast room with lots of children on a school trip. Perhaps having a time slot would have been a good idea. The staff at the reception weren't particularly welcoming.
